  1. looks good, let us know how you get on with them.
  2. Welcome to the forums Marc. Glad you found us, and nice introduction. You're a lucky guy that your wife understands your hobby too, and buys for you. Hope to hear more from you soon.
  3. I hate when that happens, I have had a couple of pairs of shoes I really liked which came up too small despite being the right size. Recently it happened to my daughter for her prom heels. At least somebody got something out of it though, and your lady friend must have been pleased with the unexpected addition to her shoe rack
  4. Thread locked as this site is for men dressing as men whilst wearing heels. Please stick to discussing heels and heel wearing as part of a male fashion and not crossdressing.
  5. Be interested to know how you get on with them, and where you got them from.
  6. With summer weather here in the UK I wondered what you guys would be wearing. Obviously boots are out now, so what heels can you wear as a guy now?

    hi guys

Welcome to the forums Brian. You're pushing on an open door here with the question of why can't men be men even when they wear heels. Of course we can. Looking forward to more posts from you to let us know what shoes you're wearing and where you're wearing them.
  8. I've seen various styles of open boots, and some look great while others are a bit uninteresting. I like this style
  9. We don't need your full name and address just a quick hi and maybe a bit about what shoes you like in the Hello And Welcome thread but it's no biggie really, you're here and posting now so go join in the discussions.
  10. Good to hear from you, and welcome to the site Heels4me. Like the shoes in the pic you have attached too.
  11. I think that would depend on the kind of bar etc. I guess in certain ones which cater to men in heels it wouldn't be quite so creepy. That said, an introduction is considered polite in any social situation.

    'quiet' heels

How do you tell how noisy the heels are? I ask because I thought my dog walking heels were noisy, until I met a neighbour walking his dog and his mens shoes made more noise. I can hear the heels very clearly, and they sound very loud to me, but thus far I haven't even noticed anybody looking back after we pass them. In a nutshell it may be that most of the noise is imagined rather than actual and you may be exaggerating the sound in your own mind based on your own fears of drawing attention.
  13. Well my dogwalking boots have worn out now, souls and heels and aren't worth paying to have repaired when a new pair from Shoezone is about
  14. Well put Euchrid. I started by going out only at night, but have had a few daylight excursions. I do agree with the part about stilettos, they don't look right on a larger framed guy. I only wear block heels outside, but do enjoy skinnier heels sometimes at home. And yes most of the fears are in our own heads, but they are there nagging that we may get "outed" and it's not socially acceptable to be different etc. in my case it would upset my wife if the neighbours were aware.
  15. Kudos to you Euchrid, trying on in Dotties is a major step. Boots look great too, but see what you mean at
  16. As someone who has used Google Ads on sites I can assure you there ain't a lot of money coming from those clicks. Be careful on overusing those ads too, Google may see it as either incentivised clicks or cheating as they come from the same IP range (your ISP's) too often. TBH if any money is made from this site I doubt it goes near paying for itself.
  17. Wife and I went to an out of centre retail park, so wouldn't have worked. And Freddy, you aren't that bad either, but as for proving normality to my wife....:-P
  18. Good meeting up with you, Fashionably late Freddy and Vee6. Sorry couldn't stay a bit longer but have to keep the wife happy. Hope to see you all again sometime. BTW some nice boots both of you.
  19. I'll be in MK Centre at around 9:30 -11:30 on Thursday. Mrs Shyguy announced that she has arranged to come home early so we can go shopping together. That means I have to be home in time too. Don't know how that fits with anyone else.
  20. I'll be in MK on Thursday morning. If anyone is around.
  21. I'll watch with interest as I have some time off work at the end of next week which ties in with those dates.
  22. Just thought I'd update this thread. I don't wear my heels often enough, but still get the chance when dogwalking to indulge. So this weekend I was up early on Saturday and walked for about 3 miles with the mutt, in my cheapy boots. They are getting worn on the heels and soles now though. On Sunday morning I went out in full light in 2" heels covered by my jeans and saw a few people along the way. No second looks or anything even though the heels seem loud to me. I'll be looking for some new boots soon though and I'll let you know what my next dogwalking heels are.
  23. +1, you do have a really nice collection there. I hope they're getting at least some use and not just being looked at occasionally. I particularly like the round toe pumps in the first pic (second from left front row).
  24. All dressed up and nowhere to go a Freddy. That sounds like a real downer, but at least there was food lol. As for the vouchers, look for the next pair of heels you can buy from HoF
  25. Maybe you will be famous among their peer group as "that bloke in the heels the other day". Not much of an accolade but it's a start right?
