  1. Lack of active users basically. Lots of "Guests" - i.e. bots. but very few real people. Heels4men has always played 'second fiddle' to HHPlace & HHPlace itself has been a fairly crap forum for years now. Few proactive members & no core membership driving it forward basically. I shall continue to check in here occasionally to watch the tumbleweeds rolling by.
  2. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-9664337/Balenciaga-Crocs-team-release-pair-stiletto-heels-inspired-clogs.html As ugly as Crocs already are, they've gone to a whole new level with these monstrosities. Hideous to look at and they're apparently going to be stupidly expensive when they go on sale next year.
  3. It was originally a documentary - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1391092/ As often happens, and without thinking about it too much, Hollywood decided it would make a great family-friendly movie It might possibly have worked if they'd excised the high heel fetishism. A large number of the negative reviews sight that aspect and the 'sex barbies' as the reason they walked out early, dragging their confused kids with them. I wonder what would have happened if the trailers had included the heel-wearing aspect

Knee boots that only reach the ankles!!! Nice one ASOS.
  5. Actually, Honor Blackman played Cathy Gale. Emma Peel was played by Diana Rigg. TV nerd point to me
  6. Sane here. Mind you, not much response on HH Place either. That forum is a shadow of what it was some 10+ years ago. Where have the decent committed members all gone to?
  7. It's been dead in the water for years. Nobody posting & nothing much to post about. I'd have quit the site some time ago if there was a 'delete account' option available.
  8. Finally caught up with this movie on my TV box. God, it was dreadful. A CGI crapfest. Toy Story meets Suckerpunch with a shoe fetish subplot. No wonder it tanked at the box office.
  9. This silly tabloid trend really irks me. Shoes/boots with fairly standard heel heights (barely 4 inches in some cases), being described as "Sky high heels", "Skyscraper heels", "Vertiginous heels" or other stupid term. They are ordinary heels, available to all, found in most high street stores, nothing extreme or noteworthy about them to be honest. Here's a recent example:- https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-6661955/Rachel-McCord-traipses-nude-lingerie-sky-high-heels-outdoor-photo-shoot-LA.html I suppose its a form of Clickbait.
  10. nope. UK has never done one as far as I can recall.
  11. Anyone going to see this movie? it's a true story, based on a bloke who wore high heels. True! https://www.bustle.com/p/welcome-to-marwen-is-a-true-story-that-will-break-your-heart-then-slowly-put-it-back-together-15520577
  12. there were some successful meet-ups at the Miller pub behind Guys Hospital some years back. 30 or so people, including a few women and a very tasty foreign barmaid who modelled some thigh-highs for us. there's a clip of that on Youtube somewhere.
  13. I didn't say it was. It's two different scenes. Red stiletto shoes in the first, black ankle boots in the second.
