  1. Your livelihood has to come first Freddy, and next time don't leave it until the last minute. Enjoy the number crunching lol.
  2. OOOH I see they are going to Bletchley Park, so close to home I may have to get over there and admire the machines as they pass by.
  3. Nice advice HFMROK. I'd never have given the insurance a second fault, and joining a club for the help and support is sound advice.
  4. Had the chance to get into Priceless and Shoe zone yesterday. Some nice styles on display but not at the internet prices in the stores. Didn't get to do too much browsing as I was with the wife and she likes to move quickly around the shops.
  5. They have some nice styles for under a tenner, just had a browse myself. My wife recently bought some "heels" from Priceless for
  6. Gotta love the support teams in these places. I always like the fact they start with the assumption that whatever is wrong is something you did, not their software. A great example is the Microsoft report a problem popup which asks you to detail anything YOU may have done that caused the problem. The help always starts by blaming you or third party software or drivers. As for selling on Ebay, that seems to be an art form in itself, and probably involves some kind of ritual using arcane symbols and hard to find ingredients gathered in certain areas of dark forest. Will do a search and see if I find your shoes and report back
  7. Maybe she kept it to a level she thought you'd understand j/k Women really do know how to play us don't they? lol.
  8. My family owns a few British bikes and oil leaks came as standard from what I can tell.
  9. Yeah but heel grips ?? Better to have the right size and fit surely? Looks like the extra topics in Heelbucks Cafe are alive and kicking..
  10. Glad you enjoyed your trip. Mrs Freddy's choice of shoe is very nice too. I like the "Primarni" thing, not sure how either Primark or Armani would take to it though lol. Thanks for all your posts about your trips, keeps the interest going. The pics and links to the shoes are great, keep 'em coming.
  11. Wise words JMC, I'm glad I waited till I was more mature before getting anything again. As a younger man I was more prone to risk taking, plus now I have better road sense and can read other drivers better to gauge what they may be about to do. Still can never be sure so I always leave plenty of room to manoeuvre.
  12. Sounds familiar, too many hobbies not enough money lol. Would love to try my hand at RC flight and once bought a cheap copter from Ebay. It was polystyrene body with plastic chassis parts. It was one channel control  you used the speed of the rotor to control the turn of the body to "steer" it. The short of it was the second flight attempt saw it end up getting caught in a tree and then falling to earht and breaking off the "unbreakable" plastic landing feet. It's been in the loft for two years now.
  13. some interesting and unusual heels there Freddy. Thanks for the links.
  14. I came off a 50cc motorbike at 16 and watched the cars missing my head by inches as they went round the roundabout. Diesel on the road meant I had come off doing the bikes top speed of 35 mph. Rode that till I got my first car then rode infrequently till I got my classic a couple of years ago. The roundabout incident makes me cautious as to what may be on the road ahead...
  15. Following the recent trend to widen the chat in the Cafe, I wondered how many here ride motorcycles? I come from a family of motorcyclists but was a bit late getting on a big bike myself. I now ride a 1970's Kawasaki as long as it's not raining. Not ultra fast but a lot of fun still with plenty of torque. What do you ride?
  16. Start with lots of cash if you want to fly RC Helicopters. I have known two people try it and wanted to do the same myself, they both told me that the higher you get with the copter the more it costs when you crash (both emphasised "WHEN"). The one who related it best to me described it as week one, one foot up, move slightly back and forth, left and right, confusion on the sticks, crash,
  17. Mrs Freddys new acquisition looks very nice. Hope you get around to showing us some of your collection soon. Also hoping you won't be the only one showing your shoes off in here, that should spark some conversation when the pics start appearing though.
  18. It only takes one or two people following a spammers link to make their millions of crap posts profitable to them. Autoposting software means they spend seconds setting up a post to millions of sites all automatically joined. Shame but it all comes down to the money, and bugger the people who might actually not want to see their nonsense posts and links. Viruses are a different matter altogether, nobody makes anything off them, like vandalism it just makes no sense as to why people do it. Or are viruses being released by the anti-virus sellers as the conspiracy theories would like us to believe? Whatever, the fact that the site is getting hit by spam shows that it is getting noticed and that's got to be good in its own right. Lets keep posting as that keeps the search engines coming back to relist the pages and add to the amount of terms the sight might be found under. Heels For Men can grow only if we work at it together, and it is growing now.
  19. Interesting post, and I guess that applies to us all. There is a point at which the balance tips from acceptable behaviour which can be tolerated to a point where it can't be tolerated. Sometimes the heels can be seen as a big weight tipping the balance to the non tolerance. I guess some of it is overcome still by the softly softly approach we often advise which gives the tolerance time to balance again. Food for thought for sure. Thanks Freddy and Mrs Freddy
  20. I'd say things are picking up. Most days there are at least 3 or 4 new messages to read, and new members are signing up too. Looks like it's getting towards critical mass ;-)
  21. Welcome ImInHeels, and thanks for introducing yourself. Looks like you found out where to start, and just hope you continue posting now you have started. I think we've all been where you are with regard to getting outside in your preferred footwear, and there is no easy answer but to go for it. I've only done very little heeling in public and then in very masculine styled wedges and block heeled boots with 2" heels, but that got easier as I wore them more. It got to the point where I realised no one was noticing and now want to go further, but just need my wifes backing to go more daring. Hope you get to where you want to be with your heel wearing.

    hi

Exactly, what is normal? It has been said time and again, most of the problem with men wearing heels is in the wearers own mind, most people just won't care what you have on your feet. And do you really care what the rest of the narrow minded minority think of you for wearing heels? Even so we need a site like this to feel "normal" and accepted as male heel wearers. Welcome to another normal male who happens to like wearing shoes with heels.
  23. Gotta agree with you there. No matter how many times I tell myself it's just an indoor thing, I still have the urge to get outside and in public wearing heels.
