  1. Looks like the reports of Heels4men.org's death were happily wrong. It seems to be coming alive right now. Long live Heels4men
  2. I can confirm that, having met Freddy once, I wouldn't have looked twice even though I was looking for a guy wearing heels when we met up.
  3. I have to go through my shoes again, but there may be some size 8 UK heels to give to the cause. Great idea for a fund raiser, good luck with your charity walk. Keep us updated as you prepare, and let us know how the planning is going for the following years event
  4. Agreed, it's a great story and one we can relate to. I'm sure we have all had the feeling we were the only ones wearing heels in the world. And what a relief to find its not so ! Crossdressing isn't for me either, just the heels although sometimes it seemed like it might be a way to get to wear heels with less notice taken because you look like a woman. Don't think I could have got away with it though lol. Good luck on your lifestyle choice and please post again, it's never boring sharing others experiences.
  5. Hi, just thought I'd say welcome and also to be the first to tell you to make sure he knows how lucky he is to have a partner willing to try to come to terms with his choice of footwear. My own wife said it was a shock when she found out, and it's difficult for her to understand it, and come to terms with my "heel thing". For her she feels it somehow makes me less masculine and she feels less feminine as a result? Hope you continue to support each other, and that you can both enjoy life together regardless of footwear or any other minor matters. Thanks for joining in.
  6. Look forward to hearing from you higheeluv. Make yourself at home here, and start interacting.
  7. HFMROK: It would still be interesting to hear your S/O's views negative or positive. I am going to see if my wife wants to air some views on here.
  8. Just browsing Ebay and found This Listing there. I know this is what we'd all like to see but I'm not sure the rest of the world is that far into heels for men yet
  9. I wonder if we can get some of the wives/girlfriends to air their views here for us. Those with concerns could maybe hear the views of the supportive S/O's and maybe help smooth the way. I realise this may not help some of the WAGs change their minds but it may help them to know they are not the only woman with a male heel wearer in the household. Any thoughts, ideas, or is it a plain dumb idea?
  10. We look forward to those times you can take the time to join in. In the meantime, welcome to the heels4men site and enjoy the posts already here.
  11. Excellent post Freddy, says just about all that needs saying. We are all interested in heels, and talking about them, and hearing others stories and seeing their personal favourite shoes. So if you're lurking, stop it and join in, we'd love to hear from you. This place ain't dead, just starting out on its journey and you can help it get going.
  12. No definitely not the recent ebay purchase. Some boots I bought ages ago have a lower heel (about 3") and a bit wider at the tip. My wife tried them, liked them and borrowed them, with my permission, for a night out. It's had an effect as she recently bought some 2" heeled shoes of her own which she wears so it has opened her mind to at least something other than flats. And we're similar size in footwear especially when she buys a size bigger due to having a wide instep.
  13. They are difficult to walk in, not uncomfortable just very steeply angled. I can only manage a tour of the house before the calf muscles protest. Yeah they were very cheap, and very thin heels so not suited for much tarmac and uneven pavement use. The slightly wider heels on the boots you linked to look a bit easier to live with in the outside world.
  14. Welcome Roniheels, look forward to reading your posts here.
  15. Here's my other recent purchase, not so high but did wear to the cinema. Sorry for the poor quality pics.
  16. The boots which FastFreddy linked to on Ebay and I bought...
  17. TBH my daughters have seen me wearing some of my wifes sandals on occasions to go out in the garden or whatever, as they were there and easy to slip on. If any comment is made I usually just ignore it, or say "they were there and I needed something on my feet". I think I'm getting to the point of not really caring about other peoples reactions, only those of my family as they are what's important. The friend of my daughters probably has her own issues to be spending her thoughts on, and wouldn't have dwelled on my choice of footwear too long. Also my girls have seen some of my heels, and my wife has said they were hers but she no longer wears them or that they were an ebay purchase gone wrong and too cheap to bother re-selling. The turnabout was when she borrowed a pair of my boots for a night out and the girls asked what SHE was doing in heels as she normally only wears flats.
  18. I think with the admin we have here anything as bad as you experienced previously will be swiftly dealt with. And hopefully we can keep it "sane" by nipping in the bud anything unsavoury, or too far on the CD/TV side. As the site says its for men who want to wear heels as men. That's why I'm here.
  19. Sorry for the delay, yes there has been a delivery. Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity for much more than a quick try on, but they fit perfectly, and are pretty comfortable but maybe just a little too high for me until I practice a bit
  20. You're in the right place to chat with guys who like heels, jump into the conversations on the forums and join in.
  21. Not arrived yet, hopefully soon.
  22. I won the auction for the boots. At the first bid price too.
