  1. Not quite the right description
  2. Afraid that's all there was available, one picture.

    My Collection

Like the middle pair, but all three look good.
  5. Recently one of my daughters bought some jelly sandals, which reminded me of a heeled pair I had some years ago and made me want some. I kept hinting to mrs Shyguy when wshe was shopping but she wouldn't buy them for me. Recently we went to Primark and I was looking at their offerings and liked a pair of sandals for £2 so I put them in the wifes basket despite protestations from her (although my youngest daughter was all for it). a bit of fun but not great obviously for £2. In heel wearing news I recently tested the waters to see if I was still "into" wearing heels, and after an afternoon of trying a few found a renewed interest. Which lead to a dog walk in my Asda hidden heel trainers on Saturday morning. A nice comfortable shoe for a walk although my lack of practice meant my calf muscles hurt after a while, felt good though and easy to walk in a relaxed manner despite a fairly thin and higher than I am used to now heel.
  6. I noticed that too, but he is known for wearing heels on stage too. Did look good though.
  7. Nice write up as usual Freddy. We saw the Edge of Tomorrow on a Sun + preview ticket a couple of weeks ago, it is a great film. Shame about the seat kickers though, it is very annoying when that happens, and more so when you had such a nice evening planned. Shoes look incredible too, well done making your way to the cinema in them much Kudos.
  8. We stayed at the city centre, in a hotel in the High Street
  9. The only heel related item was this River Song Display
  10. You don't die seven times every time you get on a motorbike, honest. I've not died at all and I've ridden several times. :-)
  11. I guess it is art. Not sure it belongs there though but maybe that's the point?
  12. I have seen some very good looking boots with cut outs. That said I'm still not sure about them either.
  13. As of right now, the foot pain is a mystery. I can only pinpoint it to starting when I got new workboots which I wear 11 hours a day 5 days a week and 6 hours on a Saturday. Over a weekend the pain goes too but that may also be because I'm resting up and not putting weight on the foot.
  14. As posted in the Christmas Wishlist thread I bought myself these trainer boots from Asda. I had tried them around the house, and although not as padded as some shoes they were quite comfortable even with some strange pains I have been getting in the bottom of my left foot. Anyway, I have been meaning to try them outside the house for a while but always found an excuse (rain, wind, too early, too late etc.) but this morning I was wide awake at 4:30 a.m. and dind't have to leave for work until 6 a.m. so I got up, dressed and put on the new shoes. I walked downstairs, got the dog ready and set off out. The heels feel slimmer than they look and walking on the uneven pavement after a long time away from heels wasn't easy. I pressed on though and walked around the block, then out into the streets away from home. Then my foot began to hurt so I took the next turn towards home. Even as the pain worsened I had decided to take the longer route around to my house rather than cut through and just pushed through it. All in all I wasn't out in them long, but enjoyed the walk in my new trainer boots. They felt pretty high after all this time in flat mens boots, but they felt good. If only my foot pain would do one I'd be happy to walk much further in them.
  15. The money you saved on gas by not having the boiler on will pay for the new receiver. ;-)
  16. Very nice boots Heelman500. I often look at Evans offerings but lately they've had nothing which took my fancy at a price I'd pay. Most Evans shoes and boots I've tried are very comfortable so I'm not surprised you find these comfortable. If safety boots should be worn at work there's probably a good reason, and I guess you would be spotted easily in something other than safety boots. I still haven't managed to get out in my new trainer boots yet, but I fully intend to soon.
  17. Trainer boots arrived, got a size 8 (42) and they fitted perfectly. Heel height feels just right for me and they don't look too feminine for wearing outside. Now just need a little good weather and time to try them fully..
  18. So I didn't get any of the boots from my wish list for christmas, but Asda had some trainers I liked the look of for £20. Mrs Shyguy said no to all of my choices in this thread. I just saw the trainers reduced to £10 + £2.95 P&P so I ordered them anyway.
  19. I have a 1976 Kawasaki as one of my other hobbies, summer riding only.
