    New Heels

Amazing looking heels. Yes please more pics.
  2. OK so now I'm jealous, you got a S/O who not only lets you wear heels but actually suggested them and that you try them in the store. I like that you also bought some flats for indoor wear, shame the boots were all wrong in some way or another as the prices look excellent. Keep the pics and tales coming but try not to make the rest of us too jealous
  3. An interesting poll, more answers will be needed though than the current 4 or 5 who post regularly here. For me, I haven't been noticed wearing heels or if I was I haven't had a reaction as such. As for how that affects my continued heel wearing it has made me more likely to wear heels more often knowing that it's not being noticed. Finally would I be more inclined to wear heels out with a group of men all sporting heels? That's a no I'm afraid, I think it would make it more noticeable with a few men in heels than when I am out alone or with my wife. It wouldn't make me feel more comfortable anyway.
  4. Wow, you are one lucky guy. To have gone out in those along with your good lady too, she has to be a keeper
  5. Welcome to heels4men, and we hope you'll stick around and become part of the group.
  6. Welcome Bob, we look forward to hearing more about your "finely turned ankle"
  7. DIYer yes, keen definitely not. But being a full red blooded male, I understand the excitement a new power tool brings. Even a new set of hand tools can be pulse raising when you're mechanically minded too. Hope you get the house sorted and that the new tool does what you need it to in double quick time.
  8. Just saw the latest pics, very nice shots and in shop too. Tried taking some pics myself at the weekend and looked terrible (Yes the pics and also myself looked terrible) so nothing to show in here.
  9. I think those shoes were a EU41 ? I usually find 41's are too small from most shops for me but only slightly and heels like those Schuh Courts would probably have been a little too small. Hope you can get some pics of them being worn soon though. I will post some pics of the boots being worn indoors soon along with a little bit about them, but so far it's been way too wet to wear them outside around here although that is the plan.
  10. It's great to see so many new pictures going up and interesting to see the variety of shoes you have. I think you put together a pretty good outfit too, but as Freddy pointed out the trousers need to be longer, but I'm going to guess you wore them that way to show the shoes better? Keep the pics coming Heelman, and Freddy keep supplying those tips as I take a rubbish picture and all help is welcome in that area.
  11. I noticed we have an option to login with Facebook, but how much integration is there with Facebook? For example does anything posted or in our profiles here crossover to Facebook? Just curious.
  12. Those boots look really classy, and look as if they wouldn't be too noticeable worn with longer jeans as the toe seems nicely rounded off. A great buy
  13. Some great looking shoes among your latest photos. Look forward to seeing the look for your out and about photos.
  14. You're welcome, shame it was such a short meeting with both of us rushing off. The Schuh shoes looked great, and caused a stir here as my wife knew the story but covered with my older daughter by saying they were for your wife. My daughter wanted to try them on but that wasn't going to happen as they were someone elses and her feet are probably too big (She takes a 9UK). Also thanks for bringing the boots along, I will get a donation to a charity as agreed.
  15. I'm not a big fan of the end of the toes overhanging the platform on those shoes. Other than that they're very good looking shoes.

    New Boots

These boots certainly seem to be a winner. Wife doesn't mind them, they're comfortable and heeled, so it's all good.
  17. Great tale, and I'm in awe of how you handled being spotted by your colleague, it would have made me look for a hole to fall into.
  18. I guess I can go for quite a while without wearing heels, but haven't had to lately. When I don't have the urge to wear them though, it can go on for a couple of months without being given a thought. As I'm sure you all know though, when the feelings there, only heels will stop the craving.
  19. Saturday is out, and as I just finished a long day at work I guess Wednesday is too We'll have to sort something though..
  20. Walking the dog in my new boots on Saturday morning, I noticed they make a bit of noise. Most of the time I don't see many people around, and this time was no different until I was almost home. I saw a neighbour walk out of the alleyway I was going into, and walked past and nodded a good morning. As I turned into the alley I noticed he'd turned back and was just a few steps behind and followed back through the alley. I tried to act natural (maybe that doesn't work?) and just walked on home, nothing was said and he went off to the right as I went left. Was I spotted? Who knows, I think my jeans covered any heel over.
  21. I would still like to try these, if the offer stands.
  22. Looks like the comments need to be approved by a moderator before they show, so I've just given it a go. Let me know if the comments show now and I will try to keep on top of them

    New Boots

I finally found some new boots for my dog walking. They have a 2 inch (50mm) wedge heel and are wife friendly An Ebay purchase which arrived quickly, they are made by Free Step, and are obviously not leather (cheap). The size 8 (42 Euro) is usually on the loose side for me, but these are a little tight and very slim width wise. Still wearable for the dogwalk, I'm hoping they stretch just a little in use. Anyway here's a pic (hopefully) as an attachment. ]
  24. I think the arguments are made, and I really don't feel it makes much difference in the end people will post what they feel is acceptable and it will be down to the site owners to take the final say on that. Time to move on and work out where the pics are to be posted to keep it tidy in here. My suggestion is in the shoe critique forums. I'll try to get my new boots posted there sometime today
  25. I'm not ok with the "we walk past so many CCTV cameras so it doesn't hurt to post the pics" argument as my counter would be that because someone else is doing it does that make it right? Also are all those images from CCTV being posted on the web for posterity? I guess it's just me but it makes it all seem a bit seedy when you take secret pics of shoes to post on a website. I guess I'm in a minority and it will probably start to happen anyway but those are my views on the subject. A shame that we can't be happy with pics we can get from our own collections and just display consenting adults pics here
