  1. Freddy The fella in the pub was quite open to the fact that he had a shoe fetish. He was able to identify all the differnt types, the brands and had an opinion of all of them.... And the whether the shoe suited the wearer or not! I know that he was very oppossed to the idea if men wearing heels, as to him it was all about the look of the shoe on the foot, and how it enhanced the female form.... Buy hey ho it was an interesting chat!
  2. I guess it did need nurturing..... I think that if more of my previous partners had been high heel wearers that might have sufficed?? But to be honest I really doubt it I have met one other chap in my hometown who is really into womens shoes, I met him in a pub one evening and it was quite obvious that he was only interested in what the ladies were wearing on their feet, we had a good discussion over a couple of pints and it was quite clear that he never wanted to wear then himself, just to appreciate them. I think that I made the switch from being a passive heel lover (on women) to being an active heel wearer as well!
  3. Not sure if any of you have seen this, but its a video of a guy "Having" to wear heels for a day because his girlfriend posted it on facebook. What I like about this is 1. The guy is reslly quite keen to wear heels, in fact he positively embraces wearing them 2. His girlfriend is really into him wearing heels, 3. I'm thinking that he still has those heels and is now well into wearing heels. 4. The reaction of his friend...his brsin really didn't compute that.
  4. The boots are spot on, and I am having serious thoughts about the platforms. On the plus side I really like this style of shoe. On the negative.... They are obvious, hard to hide these and consequently I wouldn't get that much wear out of them. I don't know, if I see a pair in my size and they fit well.... I have a feeling I will end up with a pair!
  5. Just a couple of pics I found of the lovely Jessie J.... She does look just as good with the shaved head, and again I think the tv show is the voice and another pair of heels
  6. Attached should be a picture of the ankle boots that I bought today from New Look, I had a good day out in these and are they are everyday wear heels... The heels are 4 inch stilettos which are currently in ASDA, they didnt have any in our local store, so I am going to have a scout around down here and see if I can find a pair. Yes I know that they are not everyday wear around town shoes!!
  7. Lets see how Jessie J (Yes Freddy. VERY leggy and VERY attractive) rocks the high heeled look with a shaved head!! Fair play to her for doing it..... I think it looks quite good, but then again I have taken the clippers to Mrs H's hair to correct dodgy bleach jobs.... Lol but that's another story
  8. FastFreddy your memory has not let you down, it was indeed a few years back that as a forfeit for failing to complete a 40 mile charity walk, one of my mates had to go out around town on a saturday night crossdressed... Now this lad is skinny as a rake, about 5'8'' tall and from the back whendressed... Well we had to leave one nightclub when some drunken neanderthal failed to spot the obvious... At his suggestion I did try on the heels and that as they say was the first step, i have always been keenly observant of the female footwear and was always watching girls feet, especially on nights out! I guess it was a natural progression to move into wearing heels myself.
  9. Hi all.... Been on a bit of a hiatus as Mrs Heelman has been on a right downer about heeling for the last few months, but on a positive note she is now back at work so I have more "me" time to do what I like !? And she now has to stay at home when I visit my Mum in London so I can get up to what I want there as well. I had a trip out to High Wycombe today, and for anyone in the vicinity I would well recommend the Eden centre as a place for heel shopping. There are Primark, New Look, Evans, Aldo, Office, Debenhams which do larger sizes... And I have noticed that Primark and New Look have plenty of size 9 (43) in stock. This New Look is my favourite as they always have plenty of stock and the staff keep well on top of organising the stock in sizes. So I decided to treat myself to a new pair of boots http://www.newlook.com/shop/shoe-gallery/boots/black-folded-cuff-lace-up-ankle-boots_264788101 I changed into them and had a wander around some of the shops, and then remembered that I had to go into Uxbridge for some things for my mum so it was back to the car and a quick 15 minute drive to Uxbridge still in the boots. I must have been around the entire shopping centre and was pleasantly surprised to find a Barratts had opened in town.... Though as they were new did not have any size 9 or 10 stock in yet! I was on my way back to the car when I was spotted by a teenage girl, walking with her parents... She looked once, twice, looked at me, looked down at my feet, back at me and smiled broadly..... I returned the smile and carried on walking towards the car park. These boots are really comfy and at 3 1/2 inch heel good for walking around for some time.... They are also totally in Freddys "Discreet" range and apart from that one girl I think I was not noticed at all..... The problem is I am so used to wandering around in heels now that I tend to forget I am wearing them. I had even stood right next to one of the assistants in Next as she was kneeling on the floor replacing shoes on the sale shelf and I don't think she realised that the boots were being worn by a man! I may have a trip into Central London tomorrow, subject to the weather.....
  10. A short and hopefully succint take on this issue, Firstly life is far too short and we are only here once, and as Freddy puts it you've got to have your turn! My wife also thought that wearing heels was a prelude to something more dramatic.... Which it wasn't (Perhaps a print out of the issues relating to heel wearing and that it does not lead to anything else might help) If all else fails do what I did and have the heels or me argument...... Mine backed down with the leave the key on the table speech! She gad threatened to "Out" me to all my workmates etc.... But luckily as they all know what I'm like it was a no go threat! Be strong, lifes not a dress rehearsal and take some you time....and if she still doesn't like it spend the savings on a sports car!
  11. This is a very good idea, so that you know which guys are up for a meet and those that wish to remain anonymous, it is certainly a big step to either go out heeling or meet a fellow heeler for the first time. I personally find it much easier to go out heeling when I am meeting up with a fellow heeler, as FastFreddy2 will testify, I find that I am more adventurous when meeting up, that said each of us are different and some people will never overcome their worries about heeling. It would be nice to have more meet ups....
  12. Well perhaps we should just watch This Morning as today Holly was interviewing Caroline about X Fools both wearing at least 5 inch heels..... Made for very pleasant viewing. And talking of heels I was travelling home on the train tonight and sat on the opposite side of the train was a really attractive brunette wearing a pair of 4 inch high black stilettos, with a slight wedge at the front, well to say I was very observant of said heels was an understatement and being at work I really didn't fancy taking a pic. But she saw my interest in her heels and there was definite "Shoe play" she got off a few stops before me..... But it was a pleasant journey home!
  13. Freddy, its a good job we live in a terraced house or she might try to bury me under the patio.... It was definitely too good an opportunity to miss, as most of the work lit have seen me out in heels (While dressed up! On our charity nights out....) I don't think it caused that much surprise! I'm just waiting for our next night out in costume (I have a couple of ideas, all of which involve heels, I am trying to get the boys to do Queen (I want to break free.... Just think back to the video.... I am defo doing Freddys bit! But thats fir later in the year
  14. Not a big fan of strictly myself, I prefer the X factor which has the lovely Tulisa and Nicole, trying to outdo each other in the skimpiest dress/ highest heels contest each week! And Caroline Flack (Took over from Holly ) always wears a nice pair of heels. Freddy, it might be worth a look if you can put up with the dismal lack of any talent in the contestants.....
  15. Mrs H was seriously NOT impressed at all. She was going on about me making a right fool of myself, but as I told her it was only a bit of fun and no one was taking it seriously! She really had gone off the idea of me wearing heels! Which may become a problem as compromise is not a word that describes me!
  16. Myself and Mrs Heelman went to an evening wedding do yesterday (one of my work mates, though the wedding was actually during the week) and it was quite a small affair, though there were some very nice heels on display, which was pleasant. Now about 10ish, my wife is talking to my mates wife, and asked her what size shoes she was wearing as they looked huge (She is quite a large girl) and found out thst they were size 9 (New Look wide fit). "They would probably fit me.... Says I, "Well we could swop fir a bit she says as they are hurting me now..... And so egged on by my mate I end up wearing these http://m.newlook.com/mcs/publish/3414/50561?prodid=247836114&cat=cat30013&name=shoes So there was I dancing and chatting at this do, and everyone was quite impressed by my heeling skills, apart from Mrs H, who is standing there with a face like thunder...... I managed over an hour in them before she decided that she needed them back..... Shame! This was way too good an opportunity to miss, though I think that more and more people are becoming aware of my heel wearing!
  17. I saw a pen camera advertised in the Sunday Mail, useful for discreet and covert filming and I thought it might be useful, only downside is no ability to review your pictures. i am not sure if it was a "Dodgy" gimmick or not so I didnt save the link.. the silent camera app that I got for the iphone does seem to do what it says on the tin...
  18. I really like pointed toe courts, especially like those depicted by FastFreddy... They are classically elegant heels, and the elongated toes are quite attractive. I cannot say the same for clear plastic heels of any description... The only place clear heels should be seen is "Spearmint Rhino" or other establishments of the same ilk.
  19. Attached should be some of my new heels, plus a pair that I saw this morning at the station.... very nice first thing! The first pair are those New Look 5 ich heel chelsea boots, New Look again Wedges, Shoes Zone (Lilley and Skinner) 2 inch round toe "Biker-ish" boots and finally Brantano 4 inch block heel "Military" style lace up (With zip) Boots. All are a size UK9 (43) and all fit very well.
  20. http://www.lipsy.co.uk/store/shoes/lipsy-cuff-sandals/product-is-FW00183_011 Ah now I see what you meant about Lipsy.... VERY nice heels, ok they only go up to an 8 but you never know!!
  21. Yes I agree New Look appear to be heading the right way, especially as we head towards winter and party time!! The only problem with New Look is that one store will stock all the size 9's they do, whilst another wont carry a single pair in stock. They also amaze me at how many size 9 appear in the sale that I haven't seen previously on the shelves. Next are definitely stocking some nice heels and as I am heading into stiletto mode, they are more likely to get my trade, the only downside being you have to order size 9 for store delivery. If this link works these are a pair I am interested in http://classic.next.co.uk/x502316s2 They do a wide 43 so I am hoping they will fit as the normal pair in store seem quite narrow. I shall ask the Preston store to order in a pair for me.... And see what happens
  22. Sedate yes..... But as you point out, I'm only getting into size 9 or 10 so that does limit the choice... And Brantano are not exactly known for setting the fashion world alight. I much prefer New Look as they are more exciting and Next have some really good stuff but are pricey! Then again if I turned up in a pair of pink stilettos I would be drawing far too much attention !
  23. Thanks Shyguy, they all work for me. I like both those heeled brogues you linked, I preferred the Clarks pair, very wearable..... I could almost get away with either of those at work.
  24. Tempting very tempting, but I shall restrain myself..... I'm still watching those nine west heels if you notice them cone down in price....
  25. Well just to check my theory..... Im not really into high tech stuff.... Here are a pair of the flats I tried on http://www.brantano.co.uk/ladies/emilio-luca-x/wide-fit-mary-anne-black-br_2621258311?params=fh_view_size%3dall%26fh_secondid%3dbr_2621258311%26fh_lister_pos%3d28%26fh_location%3d%252f%252fbrantano%252fen_GB%252fcategories%253c%257bbrantano_br_ladies%257d%252fbr_compoundcategory%253e%257blarge20shoes%257d%26fh_eds%3d%25c3%259f%26fh_refview%3dlister As FastFreddy would put it they are "Very Girly" but surprisingly comfy. I had considered getting a pair for driving and places where heels are a no no, but these are sooooo obvious when worn with a pair of jeans, my footwear choice would be highlighted for the world to see. I shall endeavour to ensure my posted links are viewable by all sources in future, it just shows how apple dependant I've become
