  1. I am a particular disliker of tattoos on women in general (And on men, where they get absolutely plastered in them), the odd discreet symbol on the bottom of the back is alright, anything else (In my opinion only) looks tacky If you are female you are able to adorn your feet with really nice heels, so what is the point of ruining the look with a tattoo!
  2. I am liking the boots, very nice, and you are probably bang on the money about her being an airhead! They do a little bit of TV work, find an equally dense, but infinitely more talented footballer (Loads of dosh) and becomes a wag.... Wag rule 1: Maximum exposure..... So the shorter the skirt, higher the heels and the more cleavage on display the better!
  3. And then everyone will be moaning about the heat..... You know it's the National British pastime!! I can't wait for the sun to come out and encourage lots of short skirts and high heels for our viewing pleasure! The only problem I can see is that the shops are already loaded with flat sandally type things again! At least they are better than Uggs!
  4. Also came across this pic of the also very lovely Helen Flanagan, wearing a £550 pair of Christian Louboutin slingback stillettos, with what appear to be at least a 6 inch heel... Yes I really want a pair of these... Not sure about the rest of the ensemble though!
  5. All we need is a little nice weather and things could turn out well!
  6. Are you on about the shoe or the tattoo.. Personally I really hate tattoos on womens feet, it can make an otherwise really attractive foot/shoe view look appalling. The otherwise gorgeoys Ferne Cotton has one and it reslly detracts from how good her feet would look in in the nice heels that she frequently wears.
  7. This is Cara Delevingne showing off her "Tasty" new heels. These are Karl Lagerfeld sparkly ice cream cone heels.... Don't know how much how they cost, but they do not look that great in my opinion
  8. There has been very slim pickings this week... Flats and uggs and flat boots are about it, it's a shame because weeks previously we were starting to fet some heels out and about... Hopefully, we shall have plenty to look at when we meet up!
  9. I am also liking your avatar pic, are you able to get out and about in heels where you are? Are you in the city or the outskirts?
  10. Strange very strange.... Would be an ideal gift for a future heeler, "Son, would you like a Lego set for Christmas?"
  11. This is a link to her website, I came across her pics on Lookbook, so she is happy to show off her styling choices, she is wearing very nice heels in almost all of her pictures. http://www.kayture.com/?m=1 Have a look and you will see what I mean.
  12. Apart from Friday / Saturday 8-10ish there is not always a great deal about, so despite being 3 mins away not a lot if scope AND it is my home town and it is a very small place!
  13. Came across these, same pair of shoes in all 3 shots I think, got a feeling these are right up your street FastFreddy! What do you think?
  14. Well onto the trip to Watford, uneventful drive, though the boots are not ideal for driving in.. I parked up in the Harlequin centre's multi story carpark, and made my way down to the shops, I had deliberately come early to avoid the school kids finishing time and found that they had been released early today, the centre was crowded with groups of 4/5 kids in uniform! Not my favourite heeling venue but as I was there I carried on. My first stop was New Look, but today slim pickings here, And this was to be the theme of the afternoon... I had a good wander around and visited Primark (Same courts I had already seen in Slough), BHS, Aldo,Office, Schuh, River Island, Mango, Dune There was not a fantastic selection anywhere, John Lewis particularly poor... I had to laugh at a group of young girls ogling the courts in New Look with no chance of buying them (Cost) one was trying a pair on and had picked the highest stilettos she could find (No photo for obvious reasons). All her friends were egging her on to get them for a forthcoming party.. Hopefully she had the sense not to buy them until she was a little more practised(I could do a lot better) So it was off home in my heels... Having run the gauntlet of schoolkids without being spotted!
  15. Well I am using the afternoons as me time and had a two part trip out today, first I was keen to try on a really high stiletto pair that I had seen in Brantano's Ruislip (For some reason this store has a lot of size 9/10 stock in) I pretty much had the shop to myself and the 3 cashiers were far too busy chatting at the front about their holidays to come and have a look at what I was doing. I tried on about 10 pairs of heels and some flats, (I am into all womens shoes and enjoy wearing womens flats, though they are a lot harder to hide!) Attached are some pics of the serious contenders for my cash, all size 10 The 5 inch heel stiletto courts were wearable, but a little too tight in the toebox, so not really wearable for long. The 4 inch black patent stiletto courts were a lot better fit, but too be honest a little too "Shiny" for my liking And the pair that I really liked were the black and beige wedge sandals, these were the highest that I tried on in store, but were totally comfortable and easy to walk in, I walked from one end of the shop to the other in these, I had an audience for this of a foreign (Polish??) young woman with a baby in a buggy, she had watched me put them on, smiled and watched as I walked up and down in them. I think she was very amused to see me trying them on...... I decided not to purchase any items on this visit and made my way to Watford, i changed into my Evans blockheel boots for this drive (Which was not the best idea but hey ho) Details will follow shortly
  16. I had 4 pints of rather strong Lager and I would be lying if I said it hadn't affected my walking... But I managed to get home safely without drawing loads of attention to myself
  17. I came across these pics that were posted and it is quite obvious that the gorgeous model is in to her heels as much as we all are
  18. A very very lucky man, though I guess that Nick orchestrated the whole thing so he could have a day in heels!
  19. Your right about first and last to leave, but I am the nearest to the depit being literally a 3 min walk away! This is good for 0400 starts but pants for seeing anything.... And don't forget when everyone gets off I have to take the train to the sidings for fuelling and toilet service, and by the time I get back to the station all the lovely heels are gone! I shall however, do my best to capture sone pics when on my break!
  20. I went with the New Look block Heel boots, its all in my report on New boots and Heels I want thread
  21. Just watched the first half and I am extremely pleased to report that I received NO adverse comments/looksor any general unpleasantness, for 30 mins before the match I was in deep discussion with the barman about the match. My confidence is at an all time high, I know that anything can happen, but realisation has dawned that discreet heeling is get awayable wirh (If that makes any sense). I really hope that this will give confidence to those that are wary wearing heels out in public: Do not worry..... If you act normally, really people (they may notice) will not react! Just to see what happened I wore them in and out of the house and told Mum they were Men's Cuban heel boots..... See actually believed it!!
  22. Well chaps I am in the 4 inch Evans heels purchased today... In the local pub watching the footy! Wish me luck lol
  23. I think in the case of Evans, one didnt know what to think and hopefully I have given her a positive first sale of shoes to a man, though the other should have known better, but it's her loss not mine... The Evans in High Wycombe were totally different and very friendly. The barratts manager was very friendly now I reflect on it, but it was probably just a quiet afternoon and I was a convienient escape from boredom! That said she had a positive attitude to men in heels, and lets not forget this is a lesson to all of us, these senior staff have probably been selling shoes for years and will be well aware of the numbers of heels that are actually sold to men.. I think the figures would surprise us all. I think we might find that this is the case in a lot of stores that sell man size womens shoes. The number of positive experiences in stores far outweighs the stores where the service falls short of that which is acceptable. It was good to get that info from Barratts and I will be emailing head office to encourage them to push Big Shoe Boutique into the stores
