  1. Those heels are to die for, but I just know that even if they had my size, I too would not be able to walk in them. Shame, a pair in patent black would be fantastic.. but hey ho we can but dream
  2. The excellent news is that her indoos in not coming with me , and I will be travelling down on Friday 4th Feb and probably returning home on Thursday 10th, so pick a day thats convienient for you and I'm in for the adventure... its just going to be me unless anyone else on here wants to meet up? Like yourself I wear heels discreetly under a pair of jeans, as I am not quite ready to thrust my passion for heels onto the general populace just yet. On a slightly side topic I went for a little trip to Matalan yesterday wearing a pair of heels and got myself a pair of falmer "Skinny" jeans (Female) in my size, They look like the jeans all the teens/twenties are wearing at the moment. They have two good points 1. They make my legs look good (Better than I thought they would) 2. They are the perfect jeans for showing off high heels. hat being said I wont be going out in them, because its too in your face
  3. the positive to this is that if it were a charitable event say getting sponsored, you would find a lot of guys giving it a go and the stores would maybe pick up on an increase in heels sales in larger sizes, more choice in mainstream stores would be great. We can work on extending it to a week later....
  4. Fastfreddy2 I think that my wife will have exactly the same responce as yours, though it does sound interesting going mob heeled about town! Eating, drinking and heels what a plan
  5. sounds like a plan, I will have to let you know if I am definitely down and on what date and whether I can fob her indoors off!
  6. Actually London is not a bad option, my elderly Mother lives in Uxbridge so I am down in that area quite often, in fact my next trip should be around 5th/6th Feb. Its not a problem to get into London or probably MK for the day, it all depends on whether she who must be obeyed comes with me or stays home. I am angling for the stays home bit to be honest. A day in heels around towm would be a great outing,
  7. I have shopped in several Barrstts stores and found without exception that the staff are helpful and willing to help men tryon and buy heels. Special mention must go to the manager of the Arndale Barratts for her help and comments....... you know who you are and your help was invaluable. (Quote.. we are here to sell shoes.. not judge people... now is there anyting else I can show you) Anyone else had good experiences?
  8. What we need is a national men in heels day..... possibly for charity ( They do this in the U.S, - walk a mile in her heels) 1. women would allow their men to buy and wear heels 2. Those men too scared to follow their feelings, might do so 3. we could all have a good time wearing outrageous heels. any comments?..................
  9. To reply to fastfreddy2, I also work in a ery macho environment (Railway) where men are men and for anyone else its open hunting season and I totally agree that you cannot always wear what you want, there are times when conformity is a necessity. i went out dressed as Dorothy in red high heels with a local dance troupe charity night and we took the train, I still get comments about those shoes today., (Despite the blue and white check dress, wig,etc...) And hh4evr1 I agree that the more men that wear heels in public the better it gets, but realistically for the 1000 men that think about wearing heels 1 probably does and only a fraction of them in public.
  10. sometimes boots/sometimes shoes, depending on what they look like. Boots are a lot easier for going out, but that almost seems to defeat the point (Not making much sense I Know). If I had to pick Shoes - every time
  11. shyguy you are right, I myself wear womens shoes because thats what I like, I will wear knee highs as an aid to wearing heels but thats about it. I think that we should be able to match heels with mens clothing, and I would like that to become a society norm, though its never going to happen. What we really need is someone like David Beckham to develop a heel fetish and bring heels for men into mainstream fashion. I must say a few years back on Big Brother when Kamal wore heels as a guy I hoped for an uptake in interest but nothing seemed to happen.
  12. totally agree with you about the boots, but the exhibishonist in me wants to wear something a bit more noticeable. What about you hh4evr1 do you go out in heels?
  13. Well to answer your questions needs to address the reason why I want to wear heels myself as well as look at them. I absolutely adore high heels on women, and there is nothing better than a Friday or Saturday night watching all the ladies out and about in their heels. However, this alone does not seem to satisfy the need to have nice heels and to wear them myself. My wife has "Crow toes" as the Doctors put it and struggles to wear heels for a very long time (And shes ony 23), this does not stop her looking at and wanting bought for her heels which she knows she will rarely wear. The answer to your question is that Yes even if she wore heels all day, every day I would still find the desire to wear heels myself, in fact I would probably wear them more than now as it would seem tat i was missing out. Hope this makes sense
  14. hh4evr1 - thanks I really like them and they were so cheap!! As to do I wear heels in public- yes I have started doing so, but on just recently. I went out to the newsagents today thru town wearing these boots though i was wearing a pair of jeans which pretty much covered my boots. Absolutely no one noticed even though you could hear them. I have been out in court heels before but only at night in quiet places, but that seems pointless as it almost makes your wearing them more obvious. I am definitely going out in that pair of courts that I bought the other day next, probably under a pair of jeans though to start off with. I would probably be more adventurous with more than one guy wearing heels and I quite fancy going shopping somewhere like Manchester in my heels as its far enough from home not to run into anyone I know.
  15. I found both these sites about the same time and joined up to both. I personaly am interested in wearing heels because I like heels and have been fascinated in them from an early age, for some reason the higher the heel the more I am fascinated by them, be they on a man or a woman. I dont think that wearing heels is crossdressing, though I can see it being the thin end of the wedge as previously mentioned in this thread. As for getting numbers up and climbing, well this is a niche fascination, though there are undoubtedly thousands more men secretly interested than will ever admit to it, perhaps a monthly meet (With a rotating venue e.g. Jan in London, Feb in Manchester, Mar - London) in a private venue. Whatever happens I will still be wearing my heels as and when I can.....
  16. Well todays little snippet of critisism was "You seem to have grown 2 feet taller" - to which I reply "Do I look like I play professional basketball!" On a positive note we had a little chat today and I think that we have come to an understanding.... accept it because thats who I am, and you married me knowing this. And to cheer myself up i had a browse in the New look sale and got two nice pairs of size 9 heels for
  17. Wow amazing, Ive only just found the HHplace and now this forum as well. I am a guy that sometimes wears heels (and sometimes flats) with my male clothing. I occasionally go out crossdressed, but this is usually fancy dress for special events. My wife knows that I wear womens shoes but is not overly impressed with it, but I just ignore her sarky comments when she says anything.
