  1. Continued from above... You will see I tried to get some pics of me wearing my boots in the store mirrors, They haven't come out as good as I had hoped. The really dark pic is me with my Evans heeled boots on my right foot and the Deichmann stilettos on my left I have also posted a snap of the Stilettos. Despite a visit to pretty much every shoe store, there was only one photo opportunity of a girl in Debenhams trying on a pair if black stiletto boots, but by the time I got in posiyion she had nearly got them off. I had a talk with the manager of Barratts about why there were no size 9/10 ladies shoes in store any more, and she was very open and understanding and said that it is all to do with the restructuring of the company and that a lot of the managers had asked for the larger sizes to go back in store. Quote "because where else are guy's that like to wear heels going to buy them" The shop was empty at this point and she was aware of what I was wearing and we had a 5 min chat about men who like heels, she said that they used to sell a lot of the larger sizes to guys, but it was very rare to find a guy actually wearing a pair, she assumed that most men just dont have the guts to wear them in public. She had seen the pair I wanted and asked if I would wear them at Westfield and I told her if you had my size I would have worn them out of the store. Surprisingly she was not what I had expected as a store manager with such an open minded attitude, she was in her 40's and would normally have been the last person I would have spoken to So keep your fingers crossed that Barratts bring back Big Shoe Boutique to their stores
  2. Well this morning was a shopping expedition to Sainsbury's and to do some banking, the whole trip undertaken wearing my black Newlook block herls boots. I had no problems wearing them or being spotted in them. I am pretty sure that I wasn't spotted and I felt relaxed and comfortable in them. After Lunch I had a trip to Westfield White City, as I was looking for a pair of heels similar to my avatar. I started out in trainers as I wanted to wear my purchase out of the store. I parked up in the Next section, and wandered up to Next as they have some really nice heels, but alas none in my size, so it was a quick wander over to Evans as they had their sale still on, not expecting a lot, I was pleasantly surprised to find a good selection of high leg, ankle boots, flats and heels on sale.... I found the size 9 Eee fit ankle boots as pictured, and tried them on to find a perfect fit, the sales staff were decidely offish when serving me, the one who brought the boots out couldn't get away quick enough, though the younger lass on the till was more friendly though it was probably her first man buying heels in The store! Being the show off the I am, I declined the box and told her I would wear them now, so she gave me a bag for my trainers. I really think that I gave got past the stage of caring what people think or say! I left the store and carried on my wander around Westfield, I have the distinct feeling that as these boots had a 4inch heel, they were somewhat more visible as I was walking! I got a few strange looks at times and I think a couple of the sales girls on the concourse noticed and had a laugh, but no one said anything to my face. I had a close call in House of Fraser as the down escaltor was not working and Zi had to walk down. However, one of the managers was trying to sort it out and was bent down as I got to the bottom and got a full view of my boots, but again it didn't even seem to register. I had a try on of seversl pairs in New Look and found a size 10 (44) pair of studded black stilettos in Deichmann which I also tried on, I almost bought these as the were only £14.99 but the quality wasn't fantastic
  3. You are totally correct Freddy, that it is perfectly legal to take photo's and videos in a public place, for your own personal use. The main problem I have is trying to be discreet whilst tsking them, I have managed to download an app for rhe iphone which is silent camera, and it does what it says on the tin! The zoom on that particular app us not really great! But it is usuable and can provide some decent pictures. I have been out to Westfield White City this afternnon (more in another post) but there were very few things worth looking at or for sharing with you folks. I shall have a try but the problem with work is that the phone MUST be turned off at all times in the cab (It really is instant sack if you get caught with one on) Oh and Hugh Hefner is one Very Lucky man.....
  4. I think that banana shoes may have a pair that I might like, though their prices are high as they are in a niche market. Next will probably be the place to find what I am looking for as a lot of their styles go up to size 43 and some even in a wide
  5. Yes I see your point Freddy, aren't curious kids a wonderful thing - NOT! It is the rounded toe that does give a away most womens shoes, and the click click on the tiled floor! I think I shall save the courts for another venue
  6. No the company would be exceptionally displeased with me taking photos, a driver on another company got the sack for taking inappropriate pictures of women... Whilst on duty! It's a thin line and one probably not worth crossing! I will try harder when I am out to get some decent snaps
  7. Unfortunately my avatar is not my new heels, but am on the hunt for a pair this weekend! Will see how I get on, my problem is the size! We will see! If I get a pair I shall be looking for a photographer to take some pics
  8. You may probably be correct..... Just the supermarket and the courts would work..... People really don't look down! But the distance might give me away!
  9. This is one of my favourite heel videos... These designer heels are to die for... I want in my size
  10. Just to spice things up a bit on here.... I an having a day out supermarket shopping etc.... Tomorrow and am wondering what heels to wear, so I am going to leave it up to the public vote! The options available are: 1.Brown army style 3 1/2 inch blick heel boots 2.Black New Look 3 inch block heel ankle boots 3. Black 4 inch stiletto heel courts (pic on new heels and I want thread) Let me know what you think I should wear, I think I can get away with all 3 pairs and I will let you know what happens....
  11. They are from the TopShop Unique range and apparently cost £150 I really don't think that I would want a pair, i also like them but also not enough to buy a pair, Freddy... Will you be keeping an eye out for them in the sales??
  12. Well I've got new heels and now I have the "Urge" to wear them all the time; looks like tomorrow might be interesting! I have got to get Mum's shopping at Sainsbury's as well as visiting the bank and some other shops in town, so I am planning the whole expedition in heels. I have to park in Ssinsbury's (Because it is free) and then walk down through the main shopping centre to my bank. I am not expecting to be spotted but you never know, this is my home town. I had my brown army style ankle boots with a 3 1/2 inch block heel on today, I only got to go to the Doctors surgery and the chemists in them. (Freddy they are the brown version of those black ones you last saw me in London in) I will let you all know how it goes...... I'm still building up to a few drinks in the pub in heels... Might be ok in one of the village pubs rather than my local, because the landlady there WILL notice AND comment if I am wearing heels...
  13. Indeed Freddy, it looks like Primarni have woken up to the fact that there is a market for larger size shoes. The High Wycombe store usually has a range of 6-8 different styles in a size 9, whereas some of the others only have 1 or 2 That said the quality of the heels for £10 is as good as you would pay £20 to £40 in Barratts or Brantanos. I have found out that Barratts are dropping the size 9 and 10 from all their stores and you will only be able to buy online! This is a backward step in my opinion as for a company just emerging from liquidation you think that they would want to push all sizes!
  14. That is sheer stupidity, what on earth did she think was going to happen, but then again having seen an appearance on a TV interview by her I shouldn't really be surprised! As for stairs, I have to admit that they are the only bit of heeling that I can have problems with... Anthing above 3 1/2 inches and I have to hold on.. I did slip in a ridculous 5inch pair of chelsea boots once on the stairs and managed to slightly twist my kneecap! This had the effect of curtailing my heeling for about 6 months.. But now I am a lot more realistic about the height of heel that I can manage!! Especially in public
  15. Freddy you can't have my job its mine all mine! Seriously a really nice pair of heels IS normally the first thing I notice running into a platform, and the rush hour trains are best. I have noticed that Bolton for some reason is a hive of well heeled ladies! Unfortunately the job where we got off in Manchester at 0820 has changed, there is one woman who Always wears really and I mean really gorgeous heels. But there is still plenty to tantalise the eyes!
  16. Seriously nice heels, goes well with the outfit. Has this been an indoor wear or have you gotten out because I think it would look great for a night out
  17. Right again on both fronts Freddy, I really do like the look of heels on women, but there are also some pics on the defunct highheelspassion site with men wearing heels that also looked really good and I have also seen some women wearing heels that 1. Couldn't and 2. Really shouldnt! I think a lot of heel wearing is what you wear with the heels, I'm always wearing jeans or trousers as they go with heels and therefore you dont see my male legs..... Hairy, knobbly knees etc... Women look good in a variety of outfits with heels, but I am not keen on flared work trousers that hide the heels somewhat on women. Also I am not a spectator and enjoy wearing heels, I don't think I wear heels anywhere near as much as you Freddy, but as I have found it is not something that I would ever willingly give up doing. I hope that when I wear heels it is not too horrendousand I do try to be discreet. I also like working trains from the city either in the morning or evening rush hour, because there is always something to look at, and I always have a good look. Friday/Saturday evenings are also good, it makes me laugh when some girls can't even walk in their heels on the way out, let alone when they've had a few!!
  18. Me too, I went through all the videos he has posted, just in case! You are right, getting dared like that would be great, it would be a good forfeit!!
  19. These heels were featured in todays Sunday magazine, Definitely a lot of toe cleavage on display! Along with most of the rest of her foot Personally I quite like these, though I am not generally a fan of "Clear" shoes.... As most of the time it just looks tacky! What do you think?
  20. I have posted on new boots and heels I want thread about what I got up to today, I decided against central London due to the weather, still reasonably dry but not that warm! I am still thinking of another trip to Westfield, plenty to look at and it is easy to wander around in heels! Also I am tempted to have a night out in heels, but the obvious danger with this is that once some of the neaderthals wandering around having left pubs, clubs etc. spot the heels, there is an chance of a confrontation! I have openly worn heels in Manchester's "Gay" village in the evening without problem, but this I think is the exception not the norm!
  21. If only all women were like her (Sigh) I would imagine that she was either turned on by him wearing heels, or was enjoying his embarrassment being made to wear womens clothing, or if he is really lucky she likes the idea of men in heels
  22. Freddy your point is of course spot on, hence the reason some of our collections grow to ridiculous sizes...
  23. I'm guessing that I was pretty much the same as you, it took trying that one pair on to make me realise that I liked wearing heels as much as looking at them. What prompted your move into wearing heels, Rather than just admiring them?
