Worn out and about in Uxbridge under long jeans -
Well Freddy , as you say "He who dares wears heels" I made an entire weekend of heelwearing from my last trip down to London. As I have already regaled you with the tale, I had the Saturday afternoon shopping in High Wycombe and followed this on the Sunday with a quick trip into Uxbridge both for wearing and buying of heels. On the Saturday I wore a pair of size 9EEE black ankle boots by Evans (£5 in the sale), extremely discreet apart from the heel clicking. They have a 3 inch stiletto heel and are very comfy. As I said previously no one even batted an eyelid! I purchased the pair of shoe boots in the last picture in High wycombe and it was these that I wore to Uxbridge the next day. Now here again, whilst not being quite as discreet as the ankle boots, despite having a much lower soundfall, I had no problems wearing these in a busy shopping centre on a Sunday afternoon. On this occassion I did get spotted a couple of times, first by an assistant who was manning the door in Next, she had a good look down at my feet as I walked in and made a point of saying a cheerful goodbye when I left..... she knew and she really didn't care. I then visited Evans and again picked up two bargains in the sale for £10 each. A pair of black calf length 2 1/2 inch kitten heel boots and a pair of brown calf length "Cuban" heel boots (Which were the exact same colour as my leather jacket!... you have got to work that outfit!!) now the sales woman in here was really helpful, especially considering I was already wearing a pair of heels I decided to wear the brown boots for the rest of the day as they went so well with my jacket and the outfit looked spot on. (Under my jeans btw) Now this is where I got spotted the second time and had a trio of "Security" men following me about the shopping centre. Two seemed quite amused but the other was a little off, so I fronted them out with "Is there a problem gentlemen? to which "Mr Offish" responded err no but his colleague winked and said "Nice boots!" I told him that they had several pairs left in Evans if he wanted some and he replied "Not for me.... I'm not brave enough" His colleague by now disappearing rapidly he wished me a pleasant afternoon and wandered off. It is as you say Freddy, as long as you are reasonably discreet and have the to confidence to wear heels it really isn't a problem I now have five new pairs of heels, which are forming my new collection of shoes that actually fit well enough to be worn for an extended period.

I was down at my mum's and decided to have an afternoon out shopping. I had on my 3 inch heeled Evans ankle boots. Iwalked through High Wycombe shopping centre and was even stopped by a girl who was selling paintball excursions! And no one even batted an eyelid! I had s browse in Next, Monsoon, Office, house of Fraser and New Look. I tried on in New Look, next and House of Fraser! Again even though I was wearing heels already, no problem trying something on. I stopped by Tesco on the way home and again wore heels in the store with no problem.

Well Freddy, I think you have summed up the dilemma for all of us....... "Heeling" is not something that you can just give up or put aside, I know from personal experience, so here I am again up to "My old tricks" as Mrs Heelman would put it (If she knew it was back on the agenda!) I think that you have to be selfish as you do only live once and tempus fugit as the old saying goes. I have come to a personal decision about my heeling, and as Mrs Heelman is still extremely recalitrant at actually finding gainful employment and I am working like mad to pay all the bills etc... then a little me time doing what I want is in order! I know that she is NOT going to be impressed when she does eventually find out but hey ho I think that on the acceptance front with strangers, more and more people are just not noticing or caring... for example I had a couple of hours free on Wednesday and I had a wander around Debenhams in Preston and Evans and tried on several pairs of heels.... all the while wearing my work uniform and no one seemed to worry. I bought a pair of heeled open toe sandals! not going to get much out door use of these unless I really want to make a statement..... I also went into New look the following day and it is mega winter to spring sale time... got a pair of cork wedges (Again not suitable for everyday use! but ready for our fancy dress do!!!!) and a pair of black patent stilettos (Picture attached). Now these I can wear with a decent pair of jeans... and may be tempted to next time I go out and about on a meet If anyone is looking for some new heels then New Look is the place.... all the new stock is out on display and they have plenty of upto size 9 / 43 available Happy Shopping

She who must be obeyed is out for the afternoon, so I decided to hae a visit to the local Brantano's to see if they had any boots in a "Subtle" style that would work well with a pair of jeans and I found these (see Pic) The heel is 7 cm so not too high and they are quite unobtrusive under jeans and on a very positive note they dont make too much noise! I had a good 45 minutes in there and tried about 10 different pairs of shoes on....... found several pairs that I would "Like" to have bought but would have ended up in the bottom of the wardrobe for eternity I know the manageress (She knows I wear heels) so I had plenty of help and these were her suggestion! I went to ASDA wearing them straight after and I am pretty confident that not a single person noticed! I think that my new policy is to buy only heels which 1. I can wear without compromising on comfort and 2. which I will actually be able to wear out and about with some regularity. I have donated some of the more "Outrageous" pairs in my collection to the charity collection box (It should be interesting when they sort the pairs out) as I had a wardrobe full of heels of which I was wearing only 3 or 4 pairs. I think that I am in buying mode again now though so I shall have to restrain myself

Photo's ..... The Big Question.

Hi Freddy... I think that the advice to obtain an i-phone is good, I ,ve got one and they are ideal for sureptitious photography of heels! It is a LOT less obvious if you use a phone rather than getting your camera out And you can also get instant access to this forum Amyway Christmas is coming and all the girls will be out for party time in their heels.... droool! I shall see what heels I can picture and upload them.......fingers crossed -
Well I took the opportunity to have a day out at Manchester's "Sparkle" weekend two weeks back, now this event is a celebration of all things Transgendered, and everyone is welcome TV/TG/TS etc. and was held in the Sackville Gardens area (Just off the Gay Village) in Manchester. Whilst crossdressing is not really my scene, it seemed like an ideal opportunity to have a bod about for the day in high heels! (Like I really need an excuse). I decided to wear thoose new look platform pumps (On the Mr and Mrs pic in my gallery) with a nice pair of skinny (Ish) jeans and a gender neutral top, and I must say I had a really good afternoon out, I was one of the more conservatively "dressed " though there were ample people not dressed up at all to those fully dressed (Em-femme) and it made a really nice change to be able to walk about with high highs on, not hidden under a pair of long jeans. I would have to suggest having met one or two people at the event that the Village would be an ideal place for a night out in heels as you would get no reaction from anyone to your choice of footwear, especially if you were in a group! I will try to get some pics on line, time permitting when I can.

Welcome To Heels For Men Size10Glassslipper

Hi and welcome to the site, I am FF2's contact up here in Cumbria and if all else fails you can have a delivery sent to my address if needs be, however, as you are using Priceless they will order the style and size in for you to collect in the store. If you are wary about purchasing in your home town, just phone a store in another location and they will be able to sort you out. The added bonus of this is you can get several styles colours to try on and just purchase the ones you actually like. Trust me that you will have no problems trying shoes on in store, in fact for the most part you get more help and advice than when buying mens shoes If you need a delivery address just droop me a PM -
Ah but Freddy, thats the whole idea of the "Entertainment" industry these days, you take someone with a reasonable degree of talent, get them as much as exposure as possible, throw plenty of money at them and then sit back and watch the descent towards oblivion. All the time her "Management" are counting their share of her royalties and fees. The longer it goes on and the more of a spectacle she makes of herself the more money comes rolling into the coffers. Just look at the way Lady Gaga does exactly the same thing to ensure maximum coverage. The problem is caused by instant communication and the fact that so many people have camera phones and social networking accounts that whatever any person in the public domain does is soon world wide news. I am not a big fan of all these reality shows as you hype up the publics opinion and the "artists" hopes and when (As we always do) the public grows tired of them, throw them to the lions.... AND the worst thing is that should they pass away from over indulgence in whatever vice they have become addicted to, then their popularity soars even more and this time it is just the management who are sitting pretty in their office counting their coin! Thats enough of a rant!

I had seen these online and as you say no size 9 they would definitely be an ideal pair of heels for everyday usage. Though I wouldn't necessarily go that far in discreet, as long as the shoes I am wearing are not too obvious and attract a great deal of attention I will wear something a little more feminine
-
Well I had a quick browse in New look today and found a pair of these http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/boots/lace-up-bootie_212625124 but in black not brown for £7 and bought them. They are nicely discreet under a pair of jeans and not so high as to draw attention to your gait whilst walking. I have also seen similar in next and will have a look next time I have a bit of time in Manchester.

It will all depend upon the when I'm afraid. Having said that I am overdue at Mother's for a visit and will definitely let you know when I am down in London I really do need to find a new pair of heels that are not excessively feminine for trips out and about, but a few items have caught my eye recenly online so you never know

Well I think that the change in the weather has made a difference. I put on my favourite pair of heels last night and found that my right foot was quite uncomfortable in them This is possibly due to being after a long shift at work but who knows. I have also allowed my heeling to subside somewhat in recent times.. possibly due to a change in my personal circumstances and maybe because I have been distracted doing other things now that summer is here. Yes I do wear boots during the winter and find that they are quite acceptable and discreet when teamed with a pair of jeans, but not so ideal for the summer. I really must get out and try to find a pair that I like which have a reasonable heel, are good in the hot weather and still discreet enough to wear out and about. I can distinctly feel a shopping trip coming on!.... I have rationalised my collection to those pairs that I am actually going to wear and get some use out of rather than those that I thought looked nice and were cheap in a sale!

No very true FF2, It was an attempt at fireing up the armchair heelers.... lets see what happens?
