"Last minute" meeting around the UK?
hh4evr1 replied to FastFreddy2's topic in Heelbucks chit chat Cafe
I will be out somewhere Wednesday/Thursday. Probably Stevenage (haven't decided on location 100% yet) if anyone would like to meet up. -
Welcome. I have met a few members and may be meeting another soon.
-
You will have to have a count off how many pairs, once you finish posting the pictures. Where do you store them all?
-
Ankle boots with with about a 3" wedge heel. Wore them today and they are comfortable and not noticeable under my boot cut jeans.
-
Hope you find a pair soon.
-
To celebrate a new boot season I got these today in a size 7uk after getting size 6uk that were ok fit wise but the zip wouldn't do up.
-
Nice find Freddy. You may find a pair in the stretchy material works well with thin legs?
-
Looking forward to seeing some boots, preferably those with heels. Will make a change from all the flats being worn this summer.
-
Are there going to be the read first unread post tab like before and also next thread tab ?

You have a nice collection. Some I would wear and some I wouldn't, but as long as you like them that's what matters most.

Yes they are a bit big for me and if you want them you can have them. I may have to find a pair in a smaller size. -

I am technically a wide 6, but generally wear size 7 They could be worth trying to see if they fit. I have a week of work 29th June - 3rd July. I'm expecting a parcel delivery, but once it has arrived I could meet up. -

Do you think they would be too big for me? -

The last pair would be my favourite, but they may be too big if they fit you and you're size 8. How high are they? -
I'm not good at judging age, but see was older than 40, so compared to a lot of the sales staff she was quite a it older. It may be she worked there when I worked in Hitchin and used to shop there often.

I went into Next to browse today. Found a nice pair of blue courts with stiletto heels. I was attending an informal interview so didn't get them before the interview, but went back to get them. I asked for them in my size and the sales lady went and got them. When she returned she double checked the size I had requested and asked if I wanted to try them on (starting to walk over to the seating). I was so surprised as this was the first time I had been asked if I wanted to try heels on in Next. It was rather busy so I said no, adding I have bought many shoes/boots from Next and I'm sure they would fit well.

"Last minute" meeting around the UK?

Both pairs are nice. I have a pair of stiletto mules (can't remember where I got them). They are fine at staying on my feet because of the slight bit of material at the back of the heel. I have also seen a lot of ladies with a style similar to the second pair but with a closed toe. So hopefully you can find a pair that you would be able to wear. They are called cut out ankle boots. I did a quick search (web and image) and got a lot of possibilities. Did I read right. You nearly got a pair of ladies flat shoes? Flats are nice too. You should try them. -
I wonder if the beater sold another mismatched pair just like them. They could have checked if they had the other boots and sent the correct boot/s to make the correct pair/s.

Just take out the word sport.

I just picked these up today after seeing them on a lady recently. I have a few ankle strap shoes with open sides, but kind off liked the look of these. I got the black version. Had to order online for a store collection. The sales girl took my surname and went to find them. She came back with a box and asked if I wanted to try them on. I declined as she had bought out someone else's order ( a lady, but the shoes were men's ) I told her my first name and she bought the right pair. This time though she didn't ask If I wanted to try they on. I nearly asked to try them on, but didn't

I was quite tempted to get the grey instead, but in the end went with black. I had thought about colouring the heel black, but at the moment I quite like it as it is.
