  1. It depends on the shoe size. I take size 7 uk, so a 2" heel feels low. The same heel height on a size 4 uk would seam high to the wearer.
  2. Sounds like you had a fairly good time, despite meeting people you/your eacort knew. I like the Lispy shoes you tried on. They seem to have a very slim heel.
  3. I haven't seen any with a wedge heel. Yet.
  4. How high would you like and would you prefer block heel or stiletto.
  5. http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=160666123274 Ebay link
  6. Both pairs are nice. Was it easier or harder to ride a bicycle in heels ?
  7. There are quite afew websites when I searched for cinderella shoes. Prices and styles vary. Also doing an image searcb is good. If you see something you like you can usually. Click the picture and it takes you to a website. I was thinking of getting a pair a while back. but got a pair of boots instead as I wear boots in public. She doesn't have them anymore and can't remember where they come from.
  8. Sound like you may have to wear them more often then.
  9. Next do Lipsy shoes. They might have a size eight.
  10. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_zfZ4RmyOidE/TT2ihQrq_pI/AAAAAAAABDM/C0iTADyocsE/s1600/maisonmargielaglasslipper.jpg A link for cinderella shoes picture.
  11. I like the second pair best, but the others are ok. If you have a thing for clear uppers you should search for cinderella shoes. A friend of mine got a pair for a fancy dress party we went to. As you may guess they are clear court shoes. She knows about my heels and we are the same size, so she let me try them on.
  12. I'm comfortable in flat shoe as I currently wear them more than heels.
  13. I have brought shoes from there before and have not been asked if I wanted to try them on. They were the same people working (old ladies). Next time I will take them up on the offer to try them on.
  14. Welcome. I wore my wedge heeled boots to the dentist and the dentist (women) didn't seam to notice.
  15. I have brought shoes in charity shops. All are practically new, but really cheap. Yesterday I was looking at dvd's and went to leave and saw a pair of shoes. I already had a pair but my sister had seen my pair and wanted a pair the same. I brought them for her. The assistant asked me if they needed trying on. I declined the offer and said they were for my sister. Afterwards I wished I had said yes (my sister and me are the same size).
  16. Which auction site would that be. My size is usually a 7 but I do have some size 6 and size 8.
  17. Sounds like you had a good evening. I like the Dune heels too. Are they suede or leather? as I would like a leather pair sometime. The pair your wife likes are also nice. Carvella also have alot of nice shoes/boots. I have the Carvella dana courts.
  18. Congratulation on wearing your ankle boots in public. Most people are too busy to notice what other are wearing. The more I wore mine the more confident I became. I have had the odd comment or snigger, but it doesn't put me off.
  19. I would have to agree. If shoe shops didn't have men/women sections or put heels in the mens section then more people would adjust their thinking about men wearing heels and those who like heels but don't have the courage to try/buy them might also take that step.
  20. I'm still on the tight budget. but instead of buying lots of cheaper shoes I just got the one expensive pair. It also saves storeage space.
  21. I have just brought a pair of these and although They are a smaller size (advised by sales lady) I have been wanting a pair for a while and finally took the plunge.
  22. I'm not sure how long my appointment is going to last, but I will pm you my mobile number. If you text me I can text or call you after the appointment has finished.
  23. Keep me posted. I was thinking of going early so I could have a look around first. But could also look round after the appointment.
