I started by liking to look at heels on women before I tried wearing them myself.

Like the boots. I nearly got a pair recently, but they didn't have my size. I'm not so keen on the platforms ( they look ok, but I wouldn't get a pair), but if you like them then thats what matters.

That's a shame they don't do larger sizes. I did a review today on the round toe courts and the ruched slingbacks on the Next website ( should be viewable within 48 ). I put male in the gender option. I haven't been able to review the pointed toe courts as I brought them instore, rather than online. After doing the review I checked other reviews and it doesn't actually show the gender. I wanted to spread the word of men wearing heels. I should have mentioned in the text of the review I was a man who wears heels.

Yes they are a bit more unusual. I used to only like plain shoes, like black, brown, but now I like other colours and styles too. I have a light blue/dark blue checked pair and would have brought the ligh brown/dark brown version of the same style but the shop closed down. If you like them enough, you could buy them to wear at home. i have lots of pairs I wouldn't wear in public.

I had liked looking at heels for years before I got curious. My first time wearing heels was trying on my sisters white stilettos. The heel was quite low, but I still loved wearing them. She had a few pairs of heels and I used to put one pair on then put them into a different pair to make them higher.I would wear them as often as I could after that day.

I don't think I was nervous about buying them as the first time I brought a pair of high heels it was near Christmas, so the sales person would probably have thought they were a gift. I didn't try them on as the sales person said they could be returned as long as the receipt was kept. They were a black court/pump with a 4" heel.

They are nice to walk in. They have a leather footbed which has a slight textured feel so My foot doesn't slide forward like in some of my other pairs.

I did something similar on the other heel website whilst at work the other day. I have a part time job in my local community centre. I'm mosttly there to run the coffee bar and handle queries so get to use the internet when I have nothing else to do.

I'm calm so it must work for me too.

Next boots that I just brought. http://www.next.co.u...1384s3#815339x5 The wedge heel is quite wide and around 4". The toe is round. They will be great for wearing in public.

I can't upload straight from the iphone as you can't reduce the file size of photos. I like the leather footbed in the three pairs of shoes it definately adds to the comfort factor. All three seam true to size (uk 7/41) heels are 4" on the slingbacks and the pointed toe courts and just under 4" on the round toe courts. (4" is my prefered heel height).

I have collected the round toe courts, a pair of ruched slingbacks (I have low heeled slingback but wanted some with a higher heel) and a pair of wedge heeled ankle boots. All fit well. The wedge is slightly tapered, but not as tapered as most wedge heels. They also have a rounder toe than my other pair and will be less obvious in public. I will post pictures later in the week.

We had a cat when I was young. We had been shopping and on the way home saw a young cat. Being young we stopped and stroked it. The cat followed us home. Our parents told us it would go home on its own. It decided to stay, so after afew days we gave it scraps of food as it was abit thin. We put an old blanket in the old coal bunker. Afew weeks later we let it in the house. After afew more weeks she had three kitttens. We suspect she was abandoned because she was pregnant. She died aged 20. I had anoother cat years later but it got knocked over while being chased be a dog at 6 months old.

I have wanted to see Wicked for a while but tickets can be expensive. I was hoping the social club where I used to work would go and I could get discounted price tickets and ccoach Unfortunately Idina Menzel is no longer in it. She played Elphaba (wicked witch) and has a great voice.

We could add threads on specific hobbies not necessarily heel related like those on the high heel meeting place.

I have brought a pair of classic black courts/pumps today. They have a pointed toe and 4" stiletto heel. They are from the sole survivor collection and are really comfy (they have a nice bit of padding under the foot, which I haven't noticed in my other shoes from Next. £34 I brought these as I had credit on my online account that had been there for a while. There was also a similar pair with round toe which I wanted but my size was sold out.

She had known for years I like to wear heels so we just talk about heels we have seen or brought, just as she would with my other sisters.
