  1. All true,. But let's face it,. Given the chance, We'd all drill her until we struck oil !!!
  2. Yeah, not bad. Not exactly an epic but some fun moments.
  3. Another film outing tonight. Last Witch Hunter at my local odeon. Changed into stiletto boots in the car, then strolled into the foyer for tickets, a costa coffee & the movie. No stress, no agro. Lots of fun. The heels were mostly hidden but visible to anyone observant. on another topic, I was out last night with a few friends. One girl, new to the group, said at one point "I'm really out of practice wearing high heels" . She was wearing Tiny kitten heels - barely noticeable. It always makes me smile to know I can wear heels higher than many woman would dare.
  4. ROCKY HORROR SHOW AT THE CINEMA Well, it was Rocky Horror Live on Thursday night (Sept 17th) - the Playhouse Theatre performance being beamed to cinemas around the world. I wasn't going to miss the show & I also wasn't going to miss the opportunity to wear heels to the cinema & to the pub afterwards. A nice pair of Love Label platform stiletto boots was selected for the night. Longish jeans worn to (mostly) hide them & off I went with a Rocky-loving female friend. It was a great night, as expected. No comments or looks regarding the heels, but this is Rocky Horror of course so anything goes really. In fact, it's expected!!!
  5. Still hoping for that Knighthood to come your way eh Freddy?
  6. Just saw this in an Ad Break. Funny, certainly but I don't think it helps our cause much  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQ643U7ccpM
  7. Nice to see these advertised as unisex but aside from us heel-lovers, crossdressers & people active in the drag scene, how many "men" are going to buy them to wear openly ??? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-UNISEX-EXTRA-LONG-THIGH-HIGH-MISTRESS-TV-XD-KINKY-BOOTS-SIZE-EU45-UK-9/381100768717?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D28111%26meid%3Dd15be2a7d4b845d191674a5fffb2fc15%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D11472%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D251771408419&rt=nc
  8. I've always been disappointed by TK Maxx. Strange shoe styles and they are rarely reduced to sensible sale/discount prices. The TK Maxx in my home town has also recently scaled down its shoe section considerably. I doubt I shall be bothering with it at all now. There's a bigger one in Milton Keynes but so far the strange styles issue has always kept me from buying anything in there. Charity Shops: As regards bigger sizes being available in wealthier areas - that's not been my experience to date. Some better brands (designer labels even) are to be found in them, but unfortunately the sizes typically remain in the 3-7 range. I shall say nothing at all about the likelihood of large African women (many of those in MK!) wearing stiletto heels, let alone donating them to charity shops.
  9. The Nine West's were probably USA size 8, which mean they were UK size 6. Hence they were too small!
  10. Very rare in my experience. Size 8 women's shoes/boots also pretty hard to find in charity shops.
  11. Monty Python Live (mostly), shown on UK Gold last night included a guest appearance by Eddie Izzard ("Bruces" sketch). He was wearing black stiletto boots quite clearly. No ad-libs or other comments made about his attire. It looked quite normal to be honest. Good to see that, apart from the boots, Eddie had mainly male clothing on & very little make up.
  12. link direct to the Instagram page:- http://instagram.com/p/kkkRxmSmYP/ This is in Tescos! In broad daylight! Brave bloke, out there doing what most of us can only dream of doing. I did some low-key heeling in a local pub last night. Hopefully my heels were 100% hidden & I won't be ending up on Instagram myself.
  13. He's still doing the rounds. A pic of him has appeared on a local girls' twitter/Instagram account I can't copy/paste the picture from there. Get yourselves on twitter and search "Aylesbury heels". The original poster is Hayleyn24
  14. Lots of men wearing heels on this TV show--- http://www.londonlive.co.uk/programmes/drag-queens-of-london/ Obviously, as Drag Queens, they are also wearing make-up, wigs, dresses & the rest of it!!! An entertaining programme though. Certainly more watchable than 'My Granny is an Escort', 'The Man Who Ate Himself to Death' and all the other dross that we get on CH4/CH5 these days. Who would be up for a H4M group visit to a Madame JoJo's show some time?
  15. Twelve contemporary sculptures by Michael Craig-Martin, including pitchforks, umbrellas and a pink high-heeled shoe, have taken residence in the gardens of Chatsworth House. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-26559789
  16. This has got to be the most pointless and incorrect article on heel-wearing i've ever seen. I think the author and 99% of the commenters are non-heel wearers/ heel fans. What a waste of typespace. Correct me if i'm wrong, but women were wearing heels long before that garbage Sex and the City programme ever appeared. And women are still wearing heels today, many years after SATC has (thankfully) disappeared. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/women/womens-life/10673404/Sex-and-the-City-heels-The-real-reason-women-hobble-around-in-high-heels.html
  17. horrible chunky platforms though aren't they? hardly qualify as heels at all - more like orthopedic clogs.
  18. I went to the cinema yesterday, saw a tedious load of rubbish called American Hustle. I was toying with the idea of wearing heels but chickened out in the end (despite wearing heels on a few previous occasions). Shame really, as it would have made the visit a bit more interesting. There were loads of people around though - before, during & after which I was surprised by, so it was probably best that the heels had been left at home. Next cinema trip will probably be Robocop. To heel or not to heel?
  19. Well, the periodic sightings of Asian Heel Guy are continuing. I've spotted him at a distance a couple of times. One time was when he was heading across Morrisons car park. Heels on show as usual. Then last weekend, I spotted him at the checkout in Sainsburys. Black platform stiletto boots present & correct again. He's seemingly oblivious to the various sniggers & finger pointing that follow him. Perhaps he's just brazen? perhaps he likes the attention? Still no sightings of him in the pub but it can only be a matter of time.
  20. A few times, i've seen heels put out for collection by the bin men. Some years ago, a young female neighbour placed a bag on the pavement next to her wheelie bin. It was stuffed to overflowing with heeled boots & shoes - she was obviously having a clear out. Alas, there was no way for me to 'salvage' the footwear so off it all went into the dustcart  More recently, someone had put their rubbish out in clear bags. Inside one bag was a pair of what looked like brand-new stiletto knee boots. Dad throwing out his daughters 'hooker heels'? Again, there was no way to salvage them. I had to console myself that they probably wouldn't have been my size anyway.
  21. I once bought some stiletto knee boots from a branch of Freeman, Hardy & Willis (surprised to find them in there to be honest since FHW tended to carry fairly mostly conservative, school-marm type styles & shoes for school kids). On taking them to the counter, the male assistant smirked & asked if I wanted to try them on. Had this not been in my home town, I probably would have done just to wipe the smirk off his face. That's probably the only negative comment I've received from sales staff.
  22. It's a completely ridiculous debacle to be honest. Who amongst 'our lot' would actually want to be seen in the company of a bunch of fools teetering along in neon pink shoes? Particularly if the footage ends up on the TV news or on YouTube. The worthiness of the event has also been seriously questioned by many - and obviously the link/association between domestic violence & high heels is pretty tenuous. Good luck to anyone who does attend the Portsmouth event.
  23. Nope. Worn under long trousers, they're well hidden. ;-)
