Thank you. Heel is a low though. Nice look I think, the clear plastic upper.

Perfect! Only another 149 images to go?

Gentlemen ..... As amusing as it might be to tease me ..... Suggesting I search with Google was advise that is not only too late ['cos I tried already] but produced many many many spurious results. What we is needing, is links. No point in us all trawling the 'net when it's already been done? I thank you. P.S. For example...........

I couldn't, family visits or otherwise. Having worked at an aircraft manufacturing plant, I know how flimsy these things are. Plus I got to hear about how often they fell out of the sky. It made a nervous flyer, even less comfortable. The only time I managed to acclimatise myself at all, was after a 3 month period of commuting, with 2 off 1 hour flights per week. Didn't seem so bad then, but that was a long time ago.... ....

I don't think that's likely. If creating an album is a problem, I'm sure shyguy can change that. In the even less likely event he can't, he knows a man that can. Even if it transpires there is some restriction, you can add your pictures to these posts? On the bottom right hand side of the edit window, you will see a "More Reply Options" button. It'll open up the 'attachment' option. You can add pictures that way? The difference with that method, is that you have to be a member to see the pictures, unlike the gallery pictures that anyone can view [i believe.] Checking my galleries revealed one of them was marked Private, for some reason. Even I couldn't see it easily ..... Now made public. ....

Any chance you could find out where from? Stunning! Thank you

Selling Shoes And Boots
FastFreddy2 replied to FastFreddy2's topic in Heels for Men - High Heels for Sale
My experience suggests otherwise? I sent the £50 shoes to Canada at the cost of around £20. The £45 pair were sent very close to you, for a similar amount of money. Both buyers, happy and willing to pay these charges. Why? While not being made from a last built around personal measurements, (not custom shoes then), LSB box shoes were still hand made in the UK. A similar, not so well made machine produced shoe from Ellie or Pleaser, will cost [here] around £40-£60. For someone with a desire to own a pair of LSB shoes, carriage is a means to an end. Owning and maybe getting to wear a pair of these shoes, that would otherwise not be possible. As I mentioned before, I've bought previously owned very lightly used shoes, and have some I cherish. The first of these, I had seen, and have seen no-where else. They appear to 100% leather, and are the only boots I've ever bought slim enough to get close to my skinny legs. If a second pair came up, I believe I might spend as much as their original cost to own them. I have a pair of KG/Carvela ankle boots I bought new in a sale for £42. they will be the last pair I ever sell on. I have them here unused. I managed to get a second used pair, for similar money. I was happy to pay new money, for [very lightly] used shoes, because I wanted them. It's just not that unusual. If it were, auction sites could not exist? .... ..... -
As I've mentioned before, I find the same. I don't know about 'comfortable', but it's a good height. High enough for me to feel like I've got heels on, but low enough for me to wear them discreetly. Anything higher, and I have to change how I walk. Bit of a give-away if the heels are over 4½ inches high, mostly due to lack of practice..... And I might have to reluctantly admit, my age. The last pair of LSB heels I have from my younger days, were 'walk everywhere, and walk all night' shoes. They are almost 5½ inches high. Plainly my ability has reduced over the years. .....

I did go. Nearly broke a leg ..... Tripped so many times, I had to put my flat shoes back on.

While searching for something else, I found these: US$190 with 6" heel and 1½" platform. I've got a thing for clear plastic uppers, so these looked interesting. Too expensive for me .... And not available locally, as far as I know. While searching for an example of the Campbell heel-less boot, Google found NastyGal Inc, who will ship to the UK. I'm lovin' curved (banana) heels too. £95 plus carriage to the UK at US$15 [uSPS 2-4 weeks, untracked.] Still too much for me, and I don't usually do suede anyway. Looking at the sandals, I'd say the brand comes up a bit narrow, though I've got quite slim feet .... P.S. Found them. ...

For one pair of ankle height boots, made for me, I could find that sort of money. I doubt a £1000 trip to the Philippines could be found though. And even if it could, I'd have to go by ship. Nothing I can imagine (at this time) would get me flying half way around the world, and back. Not even the 'perfect' footwear.

There might be a 5 or 10 post minimum, before adding pictures, but you have already passed that. Below, is the site guide to adding pictures. Hopefully, it's enough to get you loading up pictures.

The seller offered to do this. But they were new, worn for a couple of hours. If I had them fixed, I'd have paid £47 for a pair of repaired shoes. And what would be my position if the other shoe parted after 2 months use? Shoes don't come with a warranty as such. Anything past 3 months and the sellers can put failure down to "use", or 'fair wear and tear'. It wasn't a risk I was willing to take. If they had been £15, it wouldn't have been a problem. But £47 is the upper end of my usual shoe budget for high street bought shoes. I'd only pay more if they were imported from abroad. For me, handmade shoes are a great idea, but so far, an unnecessary expense. .....

I would be very surprised, if anyone working at that manufacturer, was shocked at seeing at a man wearing heeled shoes. Might have been a bit impressed at your height, but I doubt anything else would have seen unusual. I hope this purchase is included in the pictures you are hoping to add to the gallery? ....

Sadly, one of the heels started parting with the rest of the shoe after it's first wearing. They went back, and as they were [by then] out of stock, there was no replacement. .....

Selling Shoes And Boots
FastFreddy2 replied to FastFreddy2's topic in Heels for Men - High Heels for Sale
The Little Shoe Box shoes should get good money. I've sold one pair for £45, another for £50, a third pair for £36. Two pairs went abroad to 'Collectors'. They were all a smaller size than the ones you have, but I'm fairly confident they went to new male owners. -

Throwing them away would be a shame. they are too large for me, or I'd offer to take them off you. I have struggled to sell a couple of pairs. I think offering to ship internationally, can help. I have resisted requests to ship abroad, but managed to get a couple of pairs delivered without hiccups. I've had more interest for older shoes, than newer ones. I have in the past bought 'used' shoes. Had some very good results, with a couple of pairs I cherish. None of these were available new, so I'm glad I bought. The shoes I've bought this way have tended to be "worn once" or looked practically 'as new'. Worn out, or well worn shoes are of no interest. The shoes I've offered for sale, are either new, or had very little use. Any pairs showing real wear, go to the charity shop. Those with little service life left, or damaged shoes, go to recycling. Prices are not good though. Shoes originally bought for £50, probably worn for an hour, will sometimes struggle to make £10 on the auction site. A good price would be £20. The auction site take 10%, with the escrow payment system taking another 4% (as near makes no difference). ..... -
Hei og velkommen. I'm hoping you will post some pictures of your footwear. I love the sound of boots with 5" heels! .....

Was it the case that maybe she didn't want to be seen buying them for you? Situation seems a little odd? [i'm not being critical, I naively -possibly- am trying to work out what might have gone wrong?] The two of you tried a local store, then not so local store? On the third store visit, the shoe shopping idea was revoked? Was it possibly a case of 'cold-feet'? Last minute nerves (on her part) meaning you had to go without? Meaning: the cold reality of buying you some girl's shoes, being too much for her? For me going without is normal. Not shoes, but many other things. I have experienced similar disappointment, where for example: I've never been that that interested in visiting America. (I really don't like air travel.) Three years ago we got given a free holiday in the US because a couple we know had to cancel going. Mrs Freddy was over the moon, I was a little excited - though not over-the-moon excited because of the 7 hour each-way flight. We arranged Visa's etc. but the offer was withdrawn because the flights couldn't be transferred. The feeling of loss was considerably greater, than if the offer to us had not been made. Put into a simple analogy, it was like giving a child a sweet, then taking it off them before they can eat it. Great sense of disappointment. I have to say, I feel for you both. Other than the 'cold-feet' aspect of it, I don't understand how a change of mind can happen without some further discussion? Me and Mrs Freddy try to keep things simple/uncomplicated. She understands my needs on the heeling front, and rather than have me milling around her with a grump on, she either goes out with me - or expects me to go out and get my 'fill' of wearing heels while she is busy elsewhere. Maybe not what others do, but I offer a fair amount of encouragement for her to have her own life, as well as the one we have together. She has her 3rd or 4th Annual holiday away with the girls this coming weekend.... In return for this independence, I expect a fair amount of freedom too. I get plenty of hobby time [not just heels], and a fair amount of freedom with what I spend my money on. I don't drink, don't smoke, and am too old to womanise ..... So 'freedom' doesn't carry much of a threat to our relationship anyway. I hope the two of you find a route to where you thought you were going..... .....

Charity Shop Experience
FastFreddy2 replied to hh4evr1's topic in Heels for Men - Shopping experiences
That's the interesting bit, right there. These people [shop staff] see shoes sold all the time, we don't. I would suggest his/her offer eluded to knowing these might be for you, hence the query about trying on? No shame in turning down the offer, you never know who might walk in the door - a real concern if you are shopping locally. Nice the shop staff offered/expected you to try them before buying? [if I understand this right?] ...... -
Selling Shoes And Boots

I might have another free listing weekend [it says on the auction site] but had no confirmation email. Will try to find out for sure later. Had hoped to be travelling into London this Sunday, to watch some of the Jubilee Celebrations, and specifically the 1000 boat armada along the Thames. As is typical of British Summer/Bank Holiday weather .... It's going to rain, so I doubt we'll be going. I'll probably spend the day doing new listings instead. Not a great second choice. -
Welcome back to the fold. Feel free to tell us what you've been up to since you were last here, and what your heeling interests are. .....
-
Noooooooo !! That must've have been quite a disappointment at the time. Hopefully the larger store will have stock.
-
Well, the images have tantalised me enough, that I've decided a visit there is overdue. It's a bit of a cross-country romp for me, but the shoes alone will doubtless make it worthwhile. I won't be buying, but Mrs Freddy might. She likes a "bargain".

Photo's ..... The Big Question.
FastFreddy2 replied to FastFreddy2's topic in Heelbucks chit chat Cafe
I don't believe I've read reviews on any handset, that didn't include complaints about battery life. I think it's the nature of the beast. Powering a 3 or 4 inch TV screen consumes power. Keeping automatic updates going 24/7, consumes power. Having wifi actively searching for a connection, consumes power..... How is a phone battery not going to suffer? The thing I miss about the Nokia I owned for a week, was being able to connect to the home hub and listen to internationally broadcast radio, for free on the handset. Rather oddly ...... Camera's are now encroaching on phone territory. I usually switch channels when adverts appear on TV. [Channel hop.] Recently, I 'got' an advert for a new Samsung camera with wifi. Take picture - email immediately! I'm never that desperate to share holiday snaps, but these have got to be great for reportage photography. Imagine, being able to transmit broadcast quality images of human interest stories, literally while they're happening. Impressive. Seems there's a camcorder in the range too. .....
