Seems like he is probably an insecure type that silently fears that he himself might be interested in wearing heels, oh well just a theory.... In any event, while you should respect your sister's situation, don't let this fellows insecurities "bully" you into not wearing the footwear you normally wear to family functions (not held at your sister's home).... I know, much easier said then done....I should practice what i preach!

On the other hand, I wouldn't deviate from whatever footwear you normally wear to such events just to keep your brother in law quiet...

Yes, the husband would be my guess as well....What ashame. But, you must understand that she is caught in the middle of two people she loves and cares about...So, it is probably best to comply with her request.

I'm confused. Did you discuss heels with your sister in the past, and now she has decided she doesn't want to continue? Or, do you both share a love of heels, but she never knew that you shared the same interests...

And patience is a virtue! I get so frustrated when I get new pair with 5" heels, but can't walk very well for long distances! Like you both say, start lower, and get plenty of miles on them so the transition will be easier...Unfortunately, the fit of a particular pair makes all the difference...

That surely is a great accomplishment! Walking through the airport is almost like being on parade, because of all the folks sitting along the side of the halls just watching people go by! Great job, especially climbing up and down the steps to the plane!

Our cats have a strange attraction to bleach! I don't know if it is like cat nip to them...We have to be so careful when cleaning, am so afraid they might lick it up... The oldest of three loves olives, doesn't really eat them, just rolls in them...I guess like catnip.. The youngest little girl loves barbecue chips also.. I thought that oranges were harmful to cats, better be careful letting yours eat mandarin oranges... Now, we are trying to find a Trap/neuter/return organization to stop the feral population explosion in the neighborhood... The oldest of 15yrs belongs to my partner, it will be very tough when he passes...

I almost tripped on a Ft. Worth layover last week! Somehow saved myself before falling...

One pair buried in a tote with many pairs of cowboy boots. Another pair is in my flight bag so I have them for layovers. Another pair is tucked carefully under the front seat of my car for driving back and forth to work. And there are a few pairs stored away in the basement...

Yes, that was my post...This is an older relationship, but my love of boots has been with me since boyhood...MY mistake was not to disclose my love of boots early on in our relationship...

The visible heel is a must, yes...But, not all cirucmstances allow it...So, being able to have a hidden heel and feel great is certainly a welcome alternative!
