If you want to get his attention, PM him him directly. It's not a case of waking him/them up, they are busy elsewhere and as this threat clearly indicates, there's not much going on that draws attention. I have to say, your input is greatly appreciated, in trying to change that.

It's a shame I never got to own a pair. The heel was a very good height, in that it didn't overly affect how I walked, but was attractively high. A stiletto heel isn't much good walking on the horrendous textures of what London government refers to as it's pavements. I was out the other evening walking along a bit of Oxford Street, and came as close as I ever have to taking a tumble because of some un-level pavement. Anyone following me, would have been impressed I went from nearly walking on (what surely would have become a broken) ankle, to recomposing myself on the following step and not falling over. A bit like walking along on a kerb, and suddenly losing a foot down onto the road. My foot was just twisted away from underneath me, and of course I stumbled. (Always embarrassing.) But I didn't go over. Must have gyro's for hips? Had I been wearing a stiletto heel, I'd have surely snapped it. Thankfully I was wearing the sturdier ALDO alternative, as seen in my avatar. Would still like to own a pair of Capestick though. Lovely fitting shoe as I recall.

Not necessarily, mutually exclusive. But you are right, I should have been more explicit, rather than lean on a hamburger outlet strap-line. Those boots are very attractive, and look very wearable. Everywhere.

My limited experience with Twitter has been very negative. On joining, (both times) I was bombarded with links to stuff/people I wasn't interested in, my phone being filled up with way too much stuff to even review in an effective way. Instagram (as I understand it) is telling your life story in pictures, as it happens. Great for celeb's building/keeping a career, but not something I could get involved with directly because I need to keep my heel wearing discreet. (As much as I see wearing heels every time I leave the house, as something desirable.) In terms of the administration, I'd be happy to help but as you and Puffer have already concluded, it should be under the auspices of the site owner.

    A-ma-zing heels! I don't give a s*** that she's a bit shubby when she wears heels like this ;-)

better late than never ;-) I agree with both! There should be a heels meet, but like Freddy said, something should be added to the meeting. For instance.... selling heels, a heels show on a catwalk, , a photoshoot with a model in heels,

Obviously, you are talking about a time when "talent" wasn't computer generated.....

The sometimes anarchic kid's programme 'Tiswas' (on ITV 1977 - 82) was hosted by one Sally James, who quite often wore OTK boots on it. I believe she (and her boots) gained quite a following, and postbag, from randy adolescents. (No - I wasn't one of them; she is only a year younger than me.) Here she is - and there is at least one video online too at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=joWDBSNButM

I completely understand. If I owned a pair like these, they'd never be off my feet, unless I was bathing or under the shower. Sadly, no longer available, which is just as well at £1100 a pair.

This picture cuts across several threads, but this is the one I feel is the more appropriate. Why? (Sorry, no prizes.)
