  1. I think there,s a H of F in Guildford. The few times I,ve been in there I have never tried any shoes on. If there;s no size 9uk out, I won;t ask so won't try on.. How ever if this is the case that a size 8 will fit me I go back in to that store again. Another member on HHP noticed that New Look had less size 9 in store in the last few months. I noticed this in August but I thought it was just end of season and be more size 9 in the new season. So may I ask for other members on here to check and see if New Look still selling size 9
  2. I have noticed as I sometimes use another computer and I don't log on that non members can now see all photos that are put up on here. I don't think that right. I feel if you not a member of this forum and not going to add to these threads then you shouldn't be able to see photos
  3. That shoe has a 2 inch platform, not that you can tell by the photo butI also asked the seller about the platform height. Also like the shoe just shown but would be far to small for me.
  4. Was thinking of buying this pair. With still 6 hours to go the bidding has gone over £36 which is more then you would pay from JustFab online store. I asked the seller the lengh of the heel. I thought the heels look around 6 to 7 inches high but the seller says only 5 inches.
  5. I have also been looking at boots this week. I have only 1 pair of knee high boots which are comfortable. I have also 2 pairs of thigh highs. 1 pair from New look and the other from a company called Tilly of London, not so comfortable. I found this pair on Ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151819099648?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&var=451012430073&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Real leather and being from Pleaser should be more comfortable. I don;t mind the price of $99. but will have to wait couple of weeks before I can buy., if I do buy them.
  6. Seller had this pair listed as an 8/9, but when I massaged her they were marked as an size 41 euro on the shoes. She did say they should fit a size 9uk due to the style I pass on them. Seller also had 2 other pairs for sale in the same style. Made a bid on this pair on Monday but lost out to another bidder. Had problem with phone signal and was at work. I didn't put a high bid and got out bid at the last moment, This is the Nine west pair I was talking about before. There were not bids on this when I placed mine, about 5 minutes before the listing ended I placed a bid slightly higher then the start price of £20. I didn't put in a higher bid just in case I had to sell on again. Lack of bids sort of put me off placing a higher bid. Again I got out bid at the last moment but was driving at the time. These are peep-toes, just incase you can't tell from the photo.
  7. Thinking of buying this pair from Ebay. Item number 201428090822 Could someone tell me if that a true sizing or if they likely to run small. Not bought from Kurt Geiger (Nine West) before.
  8. I,ve been invited to see this show in Southampton next year. I will be wearing heels not sure which ones yet but being comfortable will be on top of my list of which heels to wear. My lady friend will be will wearing lingerie and is expecting me to do the same. Not sure if she will be wearing any heels.
  9. I wasn't sure if Steve Madden was a US or a Uk brand. I,m sure the seller does not wear them. They have other sizes on sale. I,ve not managed to sell the two pairs of New Look heels I had up for sale on Ebay. Both pairs unworn. I think August was a bad time to sale. Will try again later on this month. Might rewrite the listings and take new photos but I don,t think it was the listing that were the problem. I,m sure if I were to start the listing at £5 my heels would sale but I be making a loss and I can't keep doing that. I,m sure it is alot harder to sale on Ebay these days.
  10. Did want to buy a pair of Steve Madden ankle boots from a seller on Ebay. Buy it now £20. which seemed a reasonable price to pay. That seller had on the listing, the boots being a size uk 9.5. This seems to be an odd size so I asked the seller if they were a size uk 9.5. Well it turns out the boots are a us 9.5.
  11. Like the way the gallery works now. Much better.
  12. Had a little trip into Guildford today. Was hoping to try on some heels on at New Look and maybe buy. I was hoping it being a week day it be less busy and in some ways it was. Just it's the school holidays and loads of teenage girls in New look trying on high heels. I don't think they were buying. Any way I didn't see any heels I like but the shop did seem to have less size 9 in store today. Did have a look online before I went out and there were afew pairs I wanted to try on. Maybe in a few weeks time when the new season start there be more in store.
  13. I,m having to twist my legs and body so I can get a reasonable good shot of the shoes.
  14. Just bought this pair from Ebay. Paid about £12 including postage. Seem to fit fine.
  15. At first it looks like she's wearing thigh high boots but a closer looks shows she wearing latex stocking with a pair black heels. On channel 4 Tuesday at 9pm Christian Louboutin- The world's most luxurious shoes.
  16. I for one would like to see more members taking photos of their own heels and maybe their wives and girlfriends heels as well. Post them in a thread not in a gallery, so it gives us something to talk about. As for taking photos of the public. I haven't a problem with that either. I,m not going to take photos of the public. Only problem I have is that sometimes members on here take photos of heels under jeans and when I go to view the photo all I see is a very little part of the shoe. Sometimes photos come out blurred, It is best in my view not upload these photos. I like to see the whole of the shoe and not blurred. Also if you going to upload photos, could please have them facing the right way.
  17. If new members are having to wait 8+ months before they can join, they are not going to stay around.. At the moment there can be only around 5 members that are active on this site. Makes me think other members just come on here to view the photos.
  18. There are only 2, not counting the ones for streching boots that the company sells that are made for high heels. I bought the cheaper one.
  19. This is the link to the website http://www.theshoelace.co.uk/index.html I also bought a leather stretching spray at the same time.. I have tried the ice bag trick and don't think I had much luck. I.ve not tried the other ways of stretching shoes. If I can get one pair of heels to fit more comfortable then it be worth the money.
  20. Returned the second pair back to New look. I had only 14 days to return sale items. I thought this was from the time I picked the heels up, it's not, it's from the time you pay for them. In this case I was lucky as the heels were faulty so the sale girl took them back without to much complaint. I was out of time otherwise I,ve been trying to find a way stretch my heels out. Length is fine it's the width I,m trying to make wider. First shoe stretcher I bought didn't seem to do the job. Wasn't sure if I needed to buy a woman's or a man's shoe stetcher. I bought a man's shoe stetcher thinking that it would make the shoes fit better since the stretcher was made for the shape of a man's foot. The problem was both the women's and men's stretchers were made for flat heels. I just could not find any stretchers to fit high heels on Ebay or anywhere else online to start with. I then bought a mini strecther, but those only stretched the shoes in a small area. Seemed to stretch the top part of the vamp making it flat, as if taking up the slack before it could do the job. Last night I managed to find a pair of high heel strechers online. I paid for them online but I found out afterwards that their warehouse is only 3 miles from where I live. I just gone and picked them up ! Trying the strecher out at the moment. Seems to fit well and stetching the shoe in all the right places.
  21. First pair. I like the style but just can not do the straps up which is a shame as these heels did seem very comfortable around the toe box. I only paid £10 so I could just sell them on Ebay. Second pair seem to pinch on my right foot, worse when I walk around. I noticed the inner lining has not been glued down properly and have left air bubbles in the lining, Only paid £8. Not sure to either keep them or return to New look. Last pair. Paid full price for this pair, which was only £19. Like the style, fit well and will keep this pair.
  22. Bought 3 pairs from New look last week, to be collected at store. I have a New look store about 4 miles away from me. It is only a small one and does not hold a large amount of shoes. Pick the shoes up this morning just after the shop opened. No problem with the sales girl. All she ask for was I.D. Shoes were in a New Look bag and a heel was sticking out. Did think about having them posted to me so I,m glad I went and collected them. It does seem to be the way to go now. That is to stop buying on Ebay and either go and buy on New look web site or go in store. I meant to be going away this weekend camping. I,m pleased with one pair, One pair the straps are to short but seem comfortable.and I,m not sure about the last pair. Need to wear them longer. Post photos at a later date.
  23. You could be over thinking this but then again I've been trying to work out what heels are going to be more comfortable for me to wear for around 4 hours just by looking online. Not had much luck in this at the moment. Ebay is a strange place to sell on. You never know what willl sell or not. Managed to sell one pair of wedge sandals for £10. I will make about £6 from that sell. Had one watcher and about 15 people view the item. Got two other pairs up for sell both have had over 15 watchers and over 100 views, but no sell. Have one up for £14 plus £4 postage. This pair are new but have a little mark at the very front. Seen another pair, same as this sell for £33 (new but no marks) Ebay is a strange place. Edit. Just sold that pair I was just talking about. I think I only paid £8 for them in the first place when the sales were on at christmas. I don't count petrol or parking as for me that a day out shoe shopping. Going to buy couple of pairs from New look online and they now got their summer sale on.
  24. Not sure how to explain this. The idea is when walking in high heels you walk from heel to toe but on these new models the heel is to far back which make your foot go through a wider angle which make them harder to walk in. There is many other things that can make a high heel hard to walk in. I don't get to do much walking in heels. The seller was Sky High Heels. I bought 3 pairs from him. Yes he was very busy, makes me wonder if he was selling them to cheap as it sometimes took him ages to post. I thought he got kicked off Ebay as he had poor feedback.
