Another free listing weekend on Ebay. Going to try to sell a pair of mules that don't fit Going to see I can get most of my money back. I expect they wont sell. If I had the choose I would try on in store and buy cheaper on line. Or buy one pair in store and try on other pairs in case they turn up cheaper on Ebay. I try not to buy full price for my heels now. Have in the past bought size 6 on Ebay and bought them cheap. Just to many size 6 on Ebay and buyers can choose what heels to buy. Could be the same with size 8 as well.

I did try to buy an ideal pair of high heel boots from the next website a couple of years ago but for some reason would not allow me to collect in store. Until last November I hadn't bought a pair of heels for around 10 months. Then I bought 1 pair of Ebay then a week later 3 pairs from the same seller.I don't like having to many parcels delivered to me. I was going to go and collect them but the seller was able to do a 24 hours delivery for me. I was home alone that day. So that work out well. I have sold all the heels that i need to sell Ebay but thinking now on selling another 2 pairs later on in the year. I pair I,ve damaged the heels on and don't wear much. The other pair are just to big but do like them and also don't wear them much.

When I do sell on Ebay I sell just before xmas but I this time decided to sell just one pair in the new year. Bought them of Ebay in the first place and wanted to sell them as I just could not walk in them. Paid £19 + P&P for them. I got £17.50 for them and I made about £3 on the postage as well. Ebay has been doing free listings during xmas holiday where you could list at any price. I took advantage of this and sold some magazines and posters at a good price. I had 5 lots of magazines that I listed for between £15 and £25 depending on the condition of the magazines. It was the 3 cheaper lots that sold. I made over £100 in the end. I knew that if I put the magazines at 99p start they would sale at that price. Only got about 12 views on each lot. It does seem the most buyers haven't got much spare money at the moment. My Hermes are a good courier but you do need to be able to print off an address slip and can take between 2 to 5 days to deliver.

Just been to Portsmouth to pick up a pair of high heels from Debenhams. This also gave me a chance to have a look around other shoe shops. It did seem to be a good time to shop. Shops not being that busy. Since I was in Debenhams I had a quick look around the shoe department. Didn't find anything in my size. I am a size 9. I think most stores these days expect you to ask a sales person for the size you need. My next stop was Next. This shop seem to have a small shoe department. All the shoes had plastic sizing tabs on them. At least that made it easy to tell what size the shoe was with out the need to pick them and look at the soles. Both B.H.S and D.P. had all shoes in size order. I seem to remember D.P going up to a size 9 but had none on show. New Look.. Last time I went here the shoes were on the left hand side of the store. All sizes being mixed up. I did buy a pair last time, thanks to a helpful sales woman. This time at the back of the store in the right sizes. Size 8 and 9 being group together. No size 9 again. I think people buy size 9 on sale and resale on Ebay. I did try a couple of size 8 on but didn't fit but, under £10 for each pair seem worth trying on .I sometimes see a size 9uk marked up as a 42euro as well These size 8 were marked up as a 42 euro as well. Didn't have much more to left to do any more looking around so went home.

I think in future I would go back to the west end when its not so busy. For me going to store after store trying to find size 9 heels is almost a waste of time. Having to keep asking sale persons if they have that heel in a size 9 gets annoying. I have now bought the pair I tried on in Debenhams. Bought them by Debenhams online and are cheaper then before. Just have to go to Portsmouth but can have a look around the shops at the same time.

I sell on Ebay from time to time. Always start my listing for £1. My thinking is that I bought the heels on Ebay in the first place. I'm get around the same price I paid for them in the first place. All been sold and never had any problems with my buyers as such. Some lucky woman got a free pair of new boots. She did pay but the Paypal payment went to the wrong email address and thinking I had been paid sent the boots off. I now check every listing twice to make sure the payment will go to the right Email address and sometimes I do have to change it back to the right one. I did have one buyer make an offer of £3 on a pair of cheap black court shoes with damaged heels. I told him no. He was out of order anyway asking. He won the shoes in the end paying around £15 + p&p. I did have to show more photos of the damaged heels before he bid on them. As for me buying heels from Ebay. Most I find now I don't have any problems with and most fit. I think I had 2 or maybe 3 that were to small. Sold straight back on to Ebay again. I did have some bad buys. First pair squeked as I walked. Been told could be a Loose heel shaft. The heels looked cheep anyway. Got a full refund from the seller after sending back. Another pair the strap come apart after trying on the first time. Sent back but didn't get my return postage paid.

Went shopping in London on Saturday just gone with the idea of meeting up with Fred later on in the day. First stop Westfield. Westfield is good as you can park the car all day for £9 on a Saturday. Think I went into all the shoe shops and most of the department shops. Had a good look around next. Biggest problem I have is that I'm size 9. Next don't always put size 9 out and trying to find a shoe that fits is hard. New look is better but didn't find anything I liked. I don't try on heels unless I intend to buy them. I had finished doing my shopping here and a bite to eat. Still waiting for Fred to turn up. I made to move to go into Camden Town. There is an Aldo clearance shop there. It gets very busy here and I found some knee high and thigh high boots I liked just not in my size. In hindsight I should of gone to Oxford street and do a little shopping there while waiting for Fred. Fred did turn up around 5pm. We had a quick cup of tea and went back shoe shopping. I found a nice pair of heels and that fitted but I must really like them for me to buy heels now. I had to leave Fred and his friend around 8pm yet I wanted to visit more shoe shops.

Hi, Not been around much in the last few years but might try to come on here more often. Have met ff before and would like to go on another heel met again. -
For some time now I,ve been after a pair of Kneehigh boots in a size 9. Found 2 pairs that I like on the Next website. The Next sale started at 7am Boxing day and I was down at their Portsmouth branch at 7.15am Nothing in a size 9 what so ever but did have a pair of silver sandles in a size 8 that I liked. Wanted to try them on but as the shop was so busy I felt it better to try them on in the changing rooms but that was closed for the day. Still early went to Southampton. Next still had nothing in a size 9. Had a long wait for the rest of the shops to open. Found a shop that sold Pleasure shoes and boots. Had a pair of boots on sale for

Never had much chance to wear heels when I was growing up. My mum never wore heels and I didn,t know any one else that did. As I thought I never be wearing heels out or ever find other men that enjoyed wearing I did only want to own 2 pairs. A pair of courts and a pair sandles both non platform. Took me a long time before I got the courage to buy a pair. Looked in catalogs on went to a Sunday market once but never had the courage to buy a pair. In the end I bought my first pair from Ebay. It was those red cross straps in photo. Thinking to myself that I never wear these out I buy them in red with a strap. Was a bit worried that the parcel would be opened by some else in my household but in the end had no problems there. Tried them on for the first time and found to be comfortable and I was able to walk in 5" heel easy around the house. I did find them 1 maybe 2 sizes to big and the straps made it hard to take them of in a hurry. Not good if I,m wearing them while there other family members at home. This meant that I bought another pair of courts this time in black without straps just so that I could take them off fast if need be. Still 1 size to big which made them hard to walk in as my heels kept on coming out of them. Just sold both of these shoes on ebay last week as I never wore them much and I,m trying to gain a better collection of heels now

You can count me in.

Just sold the red cross Straps, Black court shoes, Blue wedge slingbacks, and a pair of Faith Hidden platforn courts. Sold them as they didn,t fit me very well but am a bad sad to see the red cross straps go. But never mind I,ve got another 4 pairs to add to that collection. I,m going to try to keep up dating this thread and try to explain what I like about each shoe.

Just sold four pairs of heels this week on ebay. Almost bought another 2 pairs from Ebay. 1 pair of Leatherworks went for more then I bid on and the other pair (Faith sandles) got me thinking where am I going to wear them. I bought 4 other pairs of heels in the last 3 months that not been worn much. The last time I bought a pair of heels off Ebay I told the guy about HHplace and I think he did join.

Is this place growing/getting busier?
Heels replied to FastFreddy2's topic in Heelbucks chit chat Cafe
I do try to add something thats not been said in a thread and not repeat the samething from other members just because I agree with them. As for getting into arguments or a debate depending how you look at it can be a good thing sometimes as that also get members talking. It,s knowing when to stop and not to let it get personal what matters the most. There's going to be many members from other parts of the world and we all never going to agree on the samething all the time.
