Certainly does seem to be, doesn't it? That is good to know. And if at no other time, I'm sure if you should ever find yourself at one of the Heel Meets, you and your shoe would be getting a lot of favourable attention. Though I doubt you need to wait for one (or several) of us with a special interest, to pass 'favourable attention'. ...

While looking for something else, I found >> this << You've been warned.

And unbelievably, I now find the original file (on my computer) that I couldn't find yesterday .... which could have saved me hours of searching....

Autumn Fashion Stocks Now Arriving
FastFreddy2 replied to heelman500's topic in Heelbucks chit chat Cafe
At the other end of the price scale ..... These are by Robert Clergerie, and probably over £600 ... I want. -
They were being worn at the early part of this year (I now know), so possibly in cooler weather both here, and in the US. Maybe less mushing than you'd expect? That said, it still looks good to me.

I'll try to put the piccies back up later. For some reason, the Forum wanted to shuffle them around, and I've tried to resolve it by putting them in the right place 3 times already.

Selling Shoes And Boots
FastFreddy2 replied to FastFreddy2's topic in Heels for Men - High Heels for Sale
Another two pairs left the Freddy household today. A pair of mine, and a pair of Mrs Freddy's heels. Me now with only 23 pairs to sell. I think I should leave the balance of the boots until Autumn, and try to sell what I have left of the courts/mules to go. Still got a couple of pairs of Mrs Freddy's shoes to go, with one pair having a heel of over 6 inches. As my feet seem to sink into shoes, I usually take a snug size. A few minutes wear, and my feet have moulded into the shoe shape, and usually become quite loose. 15 years ago I had suggested Mrs Freddy use the same technique. Rather disappointingly, her feet swell (maybe like everyone elses, since the recommendation is usually to get a size larger). They have a platform that wasn't so 'trendy', at that time. They are not made very well either, despite being Italian (if I remember). The style is quite common now, though this pair comes with a slim ankle strap, which isn't so common. I'll be adding them to the auction site quite soon. They look stunning on, but are a small size 6, so no good for me. -
Honestly not surprised. With those wide flat straps, I'd imagine a real pleasure to wear. Be nice to experience a little tiredness in the ball of the foot to let you know you're in a heel though?

I still don't have a suitable camera to record any 'points of interest', so maybe I need to wait anyway. I'm warming to an Olympus Tough, though Sony also have an interesting camera about to be announced - literally - any day now. Looks more like a phone than a camera, but is in fact a glass fronted camera? Only drawback, is likely to be price. Released in the US for $500 [likely £400 in UK] look for Sony Cyber-shot TX200V....

Whilst that might be true for some, it isn't true for myself. I'm not good with 'ornate' either with myself, nor for my S.O. whoever that might have been throughout my life. I prefer plain, which I would always describe as "classic". Mrs Freddy prefers more detailing, and politely (not) describes my taste as boring or uninteresting. I counter with 'elegant' and of course 'classic'. I'm very much into function too. A court shoe (pump) with and ankle strap, is very attractive to me. Style with function. A flower detail, or bow for me, would be completely pointless? Smooth black leather takes some beating.

"Last minute" meeting around the UK?
FastFreddy2 replied to FastFreddy2's topic in Heelbucks chit chat Cafe
Not written up the visits of last week as Mrs Freddy has been keeping me busy with a paintbrush over the weekend. Herself is off to sunnier climes later today, so I might 'find' some time to do write ups tomorrow. More moderate weather has returned. this means sun and rain, sun and rain, on and off most days. At least it's not raining 20 out of 24 hours, nor sunny all day leading to soaring temperatures we're not (currently) used to. Worryingly, farmers are cutting crops, which often signals the end of summer? I'd hoped for the warmth to stay until mid to late September..... -
I'm minded to the Cole Porter lyric's: Meaning anything usually hidden, and glimpsed at in the right circumstances, can be fairly erotic? I've already mentioned I'm not big on toe-cleavage, but I've seen some shoes recently (possibly Louboutin's) with clear plastic being used as a trim to show the toes, but help keep them in the shoe? [i will try to find a link or include a small piccy if I can find one.] Not sure whether it's the clear plastic doing it for me, or the 'indiscreet' showing of toe cleavage. Either way, it's becoming more attractive/erotic.

Autumn Fashion Stocks Now Arriving
FastFreddy2 replied to heelman500's topic in Heelbucks chit chat Cafe
While I expect folk do pay full price, most of us have turned into 'bargain hunters'. Buying attractive heels is always a pleasure, getting them at a reduced price adds just a little less guilt to the purchase. -
Hello, and welcome. Great introduction, thank you. Just one question ...... And very quickly answered. ("Where are you located?" )
-
Hello and welcome! Glad you joined. Similar to myself, but I was younger, no more than 8. Sorry to hear about the osteoporosis. Someone in my family has it too, and they get very little relief from the constant discomfort. If heels can in any way help, it's best to get any small pleasures, wherever possible. Do please come back and tell us more, when you're ready.

Great photo's, and good undercover work. I had a double-take when I saw both the original, and sale prices. While they are without doubt works of art on your feet, they are far too elaborate (and expensive) for my tastes. I have to 'fess up and admit I still haven't been this year. It's a bit of a trek, and only worthwhile if the weather stays dry. True we had 5 dry days last week .... But not enough [dry days] to persuade Mrs Freddy that planning a trip would be a plan worth making. The weather has again become unpredictable. Even the weather men have started describing it as "unsettled" with "sunny outlook with showers, some of them heavy in places." Which describes the UK weather for pretty much 300 days of the 365..... I'd really like to go.

Autumn Fashion Stocks Now Arriving
FastFreddy2 replied to heelman500's topic in Heelbucks chit chat Cafe
Yes, very wearable. I'm looking out for the Autumn/Winter ranges too. Not to buy you understand, just to covert. [Right up until they go on sale. ] -
Good choice! They look very comfortable, despite being high. At $18, a bargain too.

"flickr" seems good. I don't have an account, but those I've viewed seem pretty well organised and fast to load. I use the 'photo' facility of my google email account. Lots of control, including limiting access.
-
Rather depends on how you feel about publishing your photo's? If you add them directly to the site, after 24 hours, they are there for good. You will not be able to edit or delete them. The single benefit to adding images to threads, is that only members can see them. If you add them to a gallery, they are there for the general public to see. Using your own photo site, means we all see a link that we have to follow. Not always the most convenient method, but allows you to delete or replace the image. ['Replace' as long as the link details remain the same.] The links are, like the gallery feature here, open to all viewers.

The phrase "hide in plain sight" comes to mind.

Yes. But nothing I can repeat here. I'm positively glowing green with envy.
