Walmart is a big department store with really good prices. Just for kicks I decided to go have a look. I saw a pair of peep toes 5 inches heels that seemed nice. I was also able to find a size 10. Tried them on right there, with an older in the alley. I know she gave a glance but nothing else. The shoes weren't too bad and comfortable. I also have pictures but didn't extract them yet. In the next alley were the boots. A nice over the knee suede like black boot with about a 3 inch heel. Also found a size 10 (and an 11). I was able to get the left foot on but for some reason the right foot was too tight. Should've tried the 11 after all. As I removed the boots, I saw another model of black, about 4 and a half inches sandals. As I put them on, a young mother and her daughter came in my alley. I was nervous but continued to put the sandals and took a few steps. These were not that comfortable. The mom gave a few discreet glimpses as she passed by me but no idea about the girl as she was behind me when I walked in the shoes. Finally, I tried another model, no pics though, that was really pleasing to my eyes. an open toe with kind of a strappy-mesh like pattern. These were very nice and comfortable. Just as I removed them a group of 3 teenage girls came in my alley. They didn't see. Not sure of teenage girls reaction plus they all had their cell phone. I wouldn't want pictures of me in heels on the web, at least ones where I can be recognized. I didn't buy anything but the price would have been right. 25$ for the last pair. Maybe someday...

In what type of work environment do you work? I'm curious as there are no opporturnities here to work in a skirt for a guy.

I wish I had the courage to take walk outside in heels but we're in a pretty tight neighbourhood and it would spread like fire. I'm more afraid of the repercussion on my wife than myself actually, I could not do this without having my wife's consent. I wouldn't mind so much walking around in another city though, but the opportunities are very rare. And when I'm out of town, it's for the job and usually don't have lots of spare time.

It's a pretty quiet forum, the most active member is you FastFreddy2. At least from what I can see from the time I've been here. I cannot say I've been out in public. I've tried heels in a few stores (Aldo, Globo Shoes, Yellow) and in adult shops. Otherwise, the most public I've been is wearing my wife sandals to take out the trash

Yeah, my comment contradicted itself... Sorry about that. I was just imagining, maybe hoping, you were more comfortable with being in public... I guess I also got the wrong impression that London was more "tolerant" to out of norm behavior. Here's as well, in Canada, for a guy to wear heels in public is most likely interpreted as gay. I have no issues trying heels in the middle of the store in an adult store. But in a shoe store, I'm certainly more nervous.

I like the shoes. Why do you say though "if I hold my nerves"? And as for security, if you go out in public, you'll be seen of course. Why would security be more of a concern than any other one? Now, I can certainly understand part of the excitement because I cannot be in public in heels and it would be nerve wracking for me for the first attempts at least. Yesterday I went to a cheap shoe store and tried some half calf boots. When people came in I became very nervous. They were nice and at 40$ not too expensive but since they'd be hidden in a closet...

I went to an ALDO store not too long ago. The store was almost empty, only two clerks. I spotted the sale rack and asked if they had any in my size. She looked up the computer and then went to fetch them. Tried them on right there. The two girls looked but didn't offer any help. Didn't buy them as they were still too expensive.

Never out, my wife would not allow it. In the house I wear sometimes plain sandals and my wife asks me to to put her new shoes to stretch them out a bit. But it remains a very short period. When I'm home alone, I try to put on heels but with my other interest (wood working) it's not very pratical.

Tough questions. I have a pair of 5 inch sandals and a pair of thigh high boots. I currently would have a big interest for ankle boots.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm in my late 30's, I love heels, both looking at women wearing them and wear them myself although it doesn't happen very often. My wife knows I like to wear them and we are almost the same shoe size. I love to go in stores and try on a pair or two. Always a thrill.
