  1. I said pants, not panties Pants = trousers, panties = knickers. I'm a French speaking lad who learned US English . No harm done.
  2. So my wife wanted some shoes for her workplace. We started to have a look around and went to Globo shoes (I believe owned by Aldo). Well although she did try on a few pairs we left empty handed. Now the funny part is when we a clerk wearing a striped black and white shirt, green pants and pink heels. First we commented to ourselves on her outift choice, but when we got out, I told my wife the following: "She looked funky, but God, I swear I can walk better in heels than she did!" My wife laughed and said I was funny. Now she I like heels, that I have a pair of stripper sandals and boots and once in a while lets/asks me to stretch out her new heels. (She wears size US 9 and I wear 9.5). I tried to push and query on her comment but she wouldn't go further. She's not ready for me to wear heels with her tagging along...
  3. Lovely shoes! I'd be sad to let then go.
  4. No, I'm still in the window shopping mode.
  5. I think it was more surprise than anything. I was dressed pretty casual (clean dark jeans, and a wool winter coat), the bright blue heels stood out a lot.
  6. I found a Payless store where I tried 2 pairs of heels, one in the Brash style, a heel of about 5 inches in color purple and the other heel was a shorter, maybe 3.5 inches, slingback in black patent leather. I was left alone completely. Not even sure the clerk saw what I tried. Then I stopped at The Shoe Company store. I tried there an orange heel with a pink platform (could not find a picture). Then I tried a bright pink Guess heel that was lower. Then I saw a 6inch Madden Girl blue suede heel with a thicker heel. As I sat down to put them on, the clerk got closer, she had not seen me, much less that I was trying heels. When she turned the corner and saw the blue heels she flinched a bit but didn't loose the beat and asked me how they fit as I stood up and took a few steps around. She then showed me a pair that she liked which was bright red. She commented that it was lower than the towering heels I had on but she loved them. She then told me that if I wanted anything to let her know.
  7. Not available anymore...
  8. I'm thinking that on my way back from the neighbour town, I might take my ankle boots with me and stop at one of the smaller malls to go browse the shoe store... First thing would be to get the boots out of the house without anyone noticing though...
  9. Couple more pictures. The look is better with these jeans. One question remains. Jeans over the boots or not though? I prefer with jeans over.
  10. Possible that I have a condition. But I really think it's the design of the boots [start sarcasm] I could not be at fault, of course not. Must be shoe. [end sarcarsm] Seriously, I probably would have not bought them if I had tried them on. I love the look of them though and would love to go out in them.
  11. Nice story, that was a good read Freddy. I totally agree that in this day and age, with all our very busy lifes, one must find a way to think about themselves.
  12. Maybe, but I got replies... Of course!
  13. I'm one of last new members... did I scare everyone away?
  14. At least you can wear them out
  15. So I'm wearing the boots, and it's really where the pressure point is located on the left foot. The pressure is all at the ball of the foot just behind the big toe. And the shoes are pretty tight on top of the foot as well. It was a final sale and they were pretty inexpensive in any case. It's like I get to wear them everyday either
  16. So he wants to buy his new girlfriend heels? I'd go shopping with the girlfriend and see what she likes and pay for these. He might be too quick depending on HOW it's done.
  17. Can't say they are too high because my other pair (in my avatar) is 6 inches with 2 inches of platform therefore 4 inches elevation and they are not giving me pain. The new booties are 5 inches high with a platform of 1 or 1.5 inches. The pain was more under the arch of the foot, but only on the left foot. Only wore them an hour so far around the house.
  18. Well, they are nice looking but they are not very comfortable. Maybe they'll adjust to my feet but for the first 30 minutes in the house, my left foot is pretty sore. They have a 5 inch heel with an inch of platform. But they are MINE!
  19. Well I looked on their website again, the boots in the link above are now at 14,99$ instead of 49,99$. I called at the store to check if they had them. They did!!! They kept them for me. I didn't have the guts to try them on because that one is a very big store and my wife is a teacher and the employees are all the age of my wife's students... too dangerous. Pictures soon.
