I agree - ditching your high heels won't save the relationship. It'll only breed resentment on your part and by the sounds of things there would soon be some other failing or perceived failing on your part that would supplant heels in her book. Appeasement does not work. Never will. Negotiation does, but for that you need to have two parties approaching the table in a spirit of good will.1 point
