Is it an illusion, or perhaps the way you are standing, but that asymmetric cut of the uppers makes it look as though your foot is twisted inwards. I can't say that I like the (apparent) appearance - but then I cringe when I see a woman wearing a dress that hangs on one shoulder only!1 point
