  3. Strictly 2015 .... Coming soon! Not posted any pictures for a couple of years .... I did lots of screen shots from Autumn 2013, then forgot to post them. But things looking good for 2015 .... Contestant No.4 announced today, Georgia May Foote. A very pretty child actress who managed several years employment in the worlds longest running soap opera, Coronation Street. As she is fairly petite, she is usually seen in very high heels, though often with a platform... Footwear for the big reveal this morning: Couple of other images of her at presentation do's. More >> here << with a couple of vid's of her walking in those boots.
  4. I am looking to make a comment, but I may need some time to catch my breath ....... £760 !!!!! Very interesting post sir.
  5. More candids added to gallery. Still on December 2012.
  6. >> Ciara << slimmed back down from having a baby. A lady with a taste for high heels.
  7. Imagining system update ..... Lumix G5 has been superseded by a wifi enabled/GPS enabled G6. I don't need either, so I remainl happy with my 'as new' G5. Still not tried the Nokia lens adapter. I tend to use this camera for high quality auction photographs. I have yet to make the time for a serious visit to photograph anything in low light since its purchase. Bit embarrassing really. I get some useful video of lightning strikes recently, using mostly manual settings. Was a frustrating experience, but I got some images. Olympus Tough 820 is the workhorse. I tend to carry it everywhere, and it's mega useful just about everywhere too. It provides instant records of anything while out shopping or travelling. I recently tried a TG4, and a Nikon 'tough' style camera for comparison. Both worked exceptionally quickly, and maybe possible routes for an upgrade. Nothing planned as yet. I still have over 2 years of High Heel candids to publish.... Now with some experience, I know this camera isn't very useful at all in low light. In fact the video system performs better than the 'stills' chip in low light. Weird but true. Nokia 2370 phone. Currently this has no back to it, and an elastic band holding the misshapen battery in place. BUT, I have FINALLY bought another phone! It's a Motorola E 2nd Gen with 4G and cost £99. Camera is 5 megapixel, and is very very quick. Not used it yet, as I'm waiting for the protection system to arrive. It needed a smaller SIM card, but I've had that for a couple of weeks. Comes with Android 5.02 and currently provides VERY good listening to You Tube mixes. I have no exposure/experience to Android, so I expect that will cause some heartache when I do finally use it in earnest. Another family member, recently acquired a Windows based Kazam phone, for around £60. The frightening thing they demonstrated, was location and how they got it. They spoke directly to the voice recognition system "Cortana". So the phrase went "Cortana, where am I?" And only a couple of seconds later came the answer. Since they were sitting inside my house but only 4 feet away from my neighbour (the other side of a wall they were sitting close to), I wasn't surprised they got the door number wrong, but I was shocked to find they got everything else so right and so quickly. Honestly, it was shocking. It means that your phone literally tracks you wherever you are, and accurately too. I have turned off the GPS on my new phone .... Ironically, Mrs Freddy uses a Nokia N8 she acquired from a family member some time ago. One of the best imaging systems still, with lens by Carl Zeiss. Symbian operating system so it's simple to use with no GPS to be concerned with. She won't swap. I'll add some sample photo's from the Motorola when it gets the opportunity to provide some.
  8. The 'used' bike went and for realistic money. The new owner on seeing the bike, was overjoyed. One happy buyer. The Talon didn't work out sadly, me mucking around too long ... The Decathlon "B'twin 520s" I bought shortly after the expensive bike went seems to have ticked every box in a full-suspension mountain bike. I got it 'used' by someone who had only owned it short while, and wanted to upgrade almost immediately. It's got scratches, so I've used it. Nothing near as much as I should though. It/me/tyres seem to be prone to punctures off road whenever I leave tarmac. I may have to invest in some stupidly expensive tyre to help prevent this as currently, 50% of outings include down time for puncture repairs. Anyway, very happy with the bike. I was hoping to add a 2014 Kona Nunu to the collection, but the sellers (Halfords) want more than they are worth. I'm keeping an eye out for an "as new" used one. Seen a few advertised, but most tend to be 200 miles away or the wrong size. I don't need one, so hopefully I'll continue to be frustrated.
  9. Today, I have listed a good number of shoes and boots. Most will either be too expensive for the majority here, or the shoe size will not be correct. they are listed as size 7 and 8, although everything listed fits my slim size 8 feet. If there's anything of interest, please let me know. The auction site seems to have changed their listing 'engine' making it enormously difficult to list anything as "anonymous", which is how I tend to do mine, since most of my buyers are men and there is a need for discretion.
  10. While they are not all styles I would wear, you certainly do have a lot of choice!! And a pair of very nicely shaped feet, if you don't mind me saying.
  11. I've more than once been told by people attempting to join, they thought their membership application had failed, and had stopped even reading posts here. I had/have assured them there is often quite a delay in the application process, and they shouldn't take the delay personally.
  12. I spend a ridiculous amount of time most days, looking for pictures/inspiration of women in heels by trawling through something called Mail Online. It's the electronic version of a UK newspaper, but (apparently) run from America, so includes many news items from there, and more recently, Australia. I suspect, when visiting the site, a note of your IP address is kept, and news items pertinent to your country are presented. Although in the UK, I get offered stories/images from both America and Australia, but the bulk of the items I see are about UK celebs or politicians. Members are of course free to add links to other items/other newspapers, but please ensure your links work. Mail Online is an international site, so everyone should be able to see articles from the links I include. So I thought I would start off with something a bit controversial, it certainly is attention grabbing. Comments on the articles tend to be a bit right wing, and often unflattering, but sometimes worth a look. >> Sarah Harding << (ex of manufactured Brit group Girls Aloud).
  13. I'm likely going to start a new thread called "in the papers today". A bit like the "Meeting" and DIY threads, the idea is to provide a running theme that members can comment on as I add new links. The purpose of the thread will be to indicate who/what heels have been seen out in public. Sometimes the 'accent' might be on clothes or style of clothes, but it'll be predominantly links/pictures of heels. I would agree on "image quality". I take many more pictures than I publish, and have quite a rigid quality threshold. Also, I try to adhere to the site requirement that more than just a shoe is shown. Where possible, I try to show the outfit that goes with the footwear. That isn't always possible, but I do try.
  14. Of course the day I might pop back to my old dwelling to pick up post, I HAD to have left my decent camera at home. Anyway ..... Picture of boxed in 15mm gas supply, literally out in the street. If you look closely above the boxing in, you will see the copper pipe has been painted white (by my neighbour) to disguise the pipe above eye level. This is a fairly busy path, and used by many semi-feral kids housed in moderately run down dwellings in the background. One of the little monsters was actually caught using the bonnet (hood) of my car as a trampoline one afternoon. Police were involved. Little monster was too young to prosecute, and the feral mother was pennyless. (So no point in court action.) The 'monster' was known to the police as a psycho, and they expected a long record of wayward/illegal behaviour to mount as she got older ...... I wasn't sorry to leave. Picture:
  15. I know that history suggests new members barely say more than hello, and then often only once ..... I also know that screening new member applications takes time and there's only one person (as far as I'm aware) authorised to do it ..... But, there doesn't seem to have been any new blood allowed on since October 2014. Could some time be scheduled for that to change? I know of one person who claims to want to contribute, and if he does, his input would be welcome. Thanks.
  16. Don't stretchers only work on leather shoes? Could you add a link to the on-line source of the HH stretchers, just in case others might like to buy some too? I thought New Look sale items couldn't go back at all? Or maybe that's clearance?
  17. What a difference a couple of weeks makes here in the UK. Last week we had terrific 'monsoon' grade night storm. Heavy rain (get your canoe out type rain) for almost 3 hours, with lightning flashes bouncing around the clouds while it rained. Two days ago, we had a whole day of rain. 24 hours continuous for most places .... Today (Sunday) I was supposed to be going to Camden with Mrs Freddy and a couple of members of the younger family. I had warned one of them my favourite girls jeans ("worn girls jeans since I was 19") were usually worn with some cowboy boots I own. I had planned to wear both today for the family outing. Mrs Freddy wasn't sure, but as the boots do actually look like cowboy boots, so it was on the cards to do.... Today, it will be raining and fairly windy from 10am until late afternoon. The trip is consequently cancelled, as is my first step in letting some of the other family members knowing I wear a heel.
