  1. I'd have been looking around for my dead body ...... (Thinking I had died and gone to Paradise? ) That's a walk I wouldn't have wanted to end either! Lucky man.
  2. Maybe a month ago, got some M+S jeans priced at £30 with 20% discount. Long in the leg (yippee) with claimed 33" that came up 34", but the waist was a bit large too. I need them a tad tight to stay up. They had to be returned. Couple of weeks ago I bought some mens jeans ( ) from Tesco, as they promised 32" waist, and 34" leg with stretch. They had a 34" waist, despite the labelling. The search continues ...... Shame, only £14 too. Saw some jeans in an M+S Outlet last weekend. Reduced from £12-50 to £7. "Bargain" I hear shouted from the cheap seats, but money was very short [all went on £100 bath taps] and the material was quite thin for a denim. No returns, so I tried them on in-store. In many ways, a perfect fit, though ever-so-slightly more flared than I would like. Undecided as to whether I should borrow from somewhere, I let fate decide. Meaning I would go back when funds allowed (today) in the hope they would still be there. They'd gone. Will have another look tomorrow or Monday to make sure they weren't languishing unwanted and left in the changing room, but my hopes are not high. What made them particularly interesting was their length, as I can't get enough in blue/indigo that have a 34" inside leg. With a flare too, I could have worn them over just about every heel I own, in warmer weather - obviously. The higher waist style that I prefer, are back in the shops, and mostly come in stretch too. BUT, skinny leg. I hope to live long enough to have a good, traditional, waisted jean return to retailers en masse.
  3. Thank you. Short vid of me in them. >> Clicky << Same shoe, 4 colours. (All mine! ) >> << Comfy, and inexpensive. ......
  4. Seen and remarked. Would like to see the red ones too, if you have time.
  5. Dates ..... ? Sunny weather, parked up at Starbucks (yeuk) opposite Selfridges .... Could probably guarantee someone to fit the bill.
  6. I like a wedge, and I especially like a cork wedge. (No idea why.) These were especially attractive ...... The price, not so much. Couple of thoughts about these two ..... Liked the chain and heels idea. Clever. The Rose shoe, good present for a girlfriend perhaps? Romantic. Good web site. I could spend a lot of money there ....... There are many styles, that could fill pages and pages on this thread. Lastly, and this is a personal thought that kinda crept in, while looking at the web site .... ....... "Wonder how you accidentally stumble onto a web site called Leather-Lust-Footwear?" It was just a thought, not looking for an answer. No justification required .... Just a thought. Edit for grammar. (Though still doesn't look right.)
  7. "We" are hoping to have a meet up -avec toi- in the not-too-distant future?
  8. Did I say recruit in NK? If I thought there was some prospect of camping out with a company of girls wearing 4" inch heels all the time, I'd join! .......
  9. Another piccy of the same scene. The hats seem to be perched on top of their heads? They actually look like they must be pinned on, as they're not low enough to be held on by their head as a normal hat would be? Also, the girls look slightly more glamorous than the usual NK female soldier seen elsewhere. I'm wondering if these girls were caught taking part in some sort of NK Army recruitment shoot? Video footage of what should be their regiment marching on parade, has them in girlie shoes, but with flat heels. Otherwise, the only reason a patrol would need to have heels, would be so they could see over defence walls, without the stress of standing on tip-toe all day? My money's on the recruitment shoot.
  10. Not sure if one of these is the original photo I saw, but serves the purpose. Think she got a fair amount of criticism for the outfit. The slicked back hair wasn't to everyones taste either. She's quite attractive, so it works IMO. Bright red lips, part of her signature look, sets it all off nicely.
  11. I'm pretty confident I've seen something like these (if not these) worn at some celebrity bash reported in a newspaper during the last week or so. Usually, I download an image I think might be a good reference, of some interest. Since clear shoes are not that popular here (though I like them) I didn't keep a piccy, nor mark the article as a favourite. Always the way.
  12. Didn't sell ANY shoes this time around. Some other bits went, but no shoes. Due to a Mrs Freddy clearout, I've many more to sell at a UK6. Some used/some new, but carriage could now be a problem. If a bidder is buying a brand new shoe or boot, spending £5 on carriage might be acceptable. Not attractive, but acceptable. Before April 2nd, Royal Mail would take up to 800g (if I remember) for £3-15 with a signature on receipt. It's now £3-70 for the same service, but with a size restriction of 80mm in depth or thickness. One of her shoes I measured was 100mm wide. The nearest/next identical service is MyHermes at £4-32, then Collect Plus at £4-99 but no signature. History suggests a used shoe, might struggle to make £5, and new make somewhere between £10 and £15. I just can't imagine anyone spending £5 on a shoe and £5 on carriage. Looks like it's MyHermes at £3-30 and no signature..... I've already got some pencilled in for the charity shop, but they close early ...
  13. When Nobody starts paying for them, he can have an opinion. Of all the styles, the courts are the ones I really really like. Really like. I know where I can get the other two styles for £40, but the courts are still £59. Not bad considering a similar style from KG (Eden) consistently sell for £150. So the Coco's are a bargain, and a lot higher than they might look. (ie almost 5 inches). But it's the same 'old story'. Where would I wear them?
  14. I have the same problem with the word "sexy", which is almost always included in the description or title. That said, I think these labels are there solely as search criteria, and they MUST be getting used. I have had to sell 3 or 4 pairs of shoes or boots that could only be used as 'bedroom slippers'. My auction selling experience tells me most of my buyers are men. I've even had some F-2-F meetings with men buyers so I know it's not just wishful thinking and I've yet to advertise a man's shoe, much less sell one. When I've listed an item with the term 'fetish' in it, not only did I get a significantly higher hit rate, but a significantly higher 'watcher' level too. Can never be sure if it produces a higher price, but they certainly produced a higher sale price than I expected. Key word advertising; "stripper", "fetish", "CD" work, even if they are basically unattractive when browsing footwear listings. Now "sexy" on the other hand ..... That could be used on anything, and means nothing. I've owned a mountain bike I would have described as 'sexy'.
  15. Would rather not receive remarks actually. The pictures are taken because I've got a strong need to record my life, heel by heel. When I look though my galleries here, I can see quite a few pictures, though not all I've taken. [About half are unusable for one reason and another.] Even so, there are very few (if any) I can't remember taking. I remember where I was, usually the time of day, and what I was doing there. The recent London meet with Euchrid written up over the past two days, wasn't done from my (questionable) recollection of what happened, but from what we did going from picture to picture. Unfortunately for the members, I'll publish because I need to. It's usually more practical to keep them in the 'Galleries', but once buried there, I'm not sure they get very many views. It's why I tend to upload 6 at a time, it makes sure they get looked at.
  16. Here's how: From the left, Carvela Menzies, 4 pairs. KG Saint, 2 pairs. Topshop Prodigy, 2 pairs. Nearly £300's worth (at sale prices) and I've worn one pair (of Menzies), twice. I'm trying to exercise some self-control..... ...........
  17. Some of the new collection from United Nude, seen recently in HoF (or was it Topshop?) See more views here: >> Clicky << See more views here: >> Clicky << See more views here: >> Clicky << Available in other colour combinations too .....
  18. Part 3 of 2 (!!) Almost at the end of our afternoon out, we visited one last shop. Nothing to report on the shoe front, but one of the staff was wearing thigh boots!! To work!! Not some with high heels (sorry), but they were thigh boots. She was easily the hardest working person there, not standing still at all, so getting a piccy was almost impossible. And the best chance I got (picture 3) had my jacket hiding most of the subject. [Duh!] Hopefully you get the idea. We said our goodbyes, and expressed a desire and intent to meet up again, sooner rather than later. As we got back to the car, had another pair of heels turn up. On the way home, stopped off at Brent Cross for me to return some jeans I'd bought recently from Marks, and had decided they were too large to keep. More heels .... And finally home. What a great afternoon. Sun was still out on the drive back, how lucky were we with the weather? Quite possibly my best day this year. Epilogue. It doesn't take long to press a button on a camera, and during the afternoon I took 195 images. Many are unsuitable due to compositional problems, like my jacket getting in the way as mentioned above. Often movement, as fast as the camera is, makes some pictures unusable. The lack of contrast, again with the thigh boot images, makes some images useless for reproduction here. Every image taken is upside down because of how I (discreetly) hold the camera. It's never held perfectly 'square' either, so getting the image ready, can take some time. Editing all the images shown in these posts, has taken better than two hours. The speed with which the images are sometimes taken, (literally 5- 10 seconds) and the further delay in seeing the images correctly, means something stunning can go unnoticed for some time. Just such a situation exists with the boots at the start of "Part 2 of 3". On closer examination while getting the image right side up, then cropping in the detail, the shape of the boot became more apparent. Not just the shape, but more importantly the rise that went with the shape. True they have a platform, but it's not a stupidly thick one, and the boots weren't particularly small either. The only give away to their origin is there appears to be a zip on the outside of the boot. I've tried to find the make, but had no success. If they'd had a red sole, I'd have to look no further, but the sole was black. I don't believe I've seen these anywhere.... And I'd like to. A closer look ....... I spent a several hours searching on the internet, deciding the were either Mui Mui, or a Loubie knock off. While both these brands have similar shapes and heel heights, I'm sure I noticed a small web joining the heel to the sole, neither of these had that web. Tonight (Wednesday) while preparing the photo's for publication here, I thought I also recognised there might be a hidden platform above the obvious one. So; outer zip, heel web, double platform. While trying to find the picture of the Mui Mui boot I downloaded Monday, I literally stumbled across the answer. Zara £60, AW 2012 I'd actually tried these on last Autumn, and had mentioned them before I had tried them on in-store. REALLY HIGH, and felt it, though a very good fit on my foot. I didn't buy at the time because of the double platform. Lovely looking boot though. Certainly a head turner (to me). That's a mystery I never thought would be resolved. P.S. (Finally) found the picture of the Mui Mui boots! Nice heel huh? ..............
  19. Part 2 of 3 (it turns out) The big three stores done, and me having been off for a wander on my own, (toilet again) we all proceeded a bit further before crossing the road to South Molton Street. Just as we were about to cross the road, I got distracted. I hadn't realised at the time, but these boots are special. [see 'Epilogue' in Part 3.] With tummy's rumbling, we crossed the road and started to walk toward another Kurt Geiger store, before going to Bond Street station. Not far into the walk, I think we saw what could be described as the high heel 'mother load' of the afternoon. A tall attractive girl approached wearing some stunning footwear. Made her so tall, even Heelman500 would have to look upward to see her (lovely) face. Once Euchrid and I had calmed down, we visited the Kurt Geiger store. Staff outnumbered shoppers, and one of the staff spotted my shoes...... Once again I was tempted with the Coco stiletto's (mentioned elsewhere), and once again I thought, wear them where? Leaving the shop, we walked up to Bond Street, and Pret. While eating my favourite Pret sandwich of crayfish and rocket, several more girls in heels passed us while we sat. Unfortunately, even my enthusiasm can't overcome the need for 3 hands to eat and 'snap' at the same time. Some time later (I can talk for England) we left and went back out into Oxford Street. The plan was to go up to Primarni, but my feet were out of practice for walking too much further, and we had walked quite a way already! Plus my walking companion has a duff hip (to be replaced on May), so the return walk back to Oxford Circus became inevitable. Having already seen what was always going to be the most glamorous outfit we were going to see during the afternoon, anything else was probably going to be slightly disappointing. Still, heels are heels, and we did see more on the way back. A good place to see girls in heels, is always going to be a shoe shop of course .... And there was more than one we hadn't been to, on the outbound journey. Oh dear. Ran out of piccy space!
  20. Her name is Abbey Crouch (nee Clancy) to all who don't know of her, married to Peter Crouch the 6ft 7in footballer. Historically a model from Liverpool, now a TV presenter as well as well-dressed WAG. Some more photo's ...... And today's shocker! Unexpurgated version >> here << She's definitely easy on the eye, and seems to like being seen in a heel. Bravo!
  21. They do seem like the style I might most enjoy wearing out ....... But ....... I have a couple of similar styles already, and that might be why I'm drawn to them. The courts; well, I just love a shiny stiletto, regardless to whether I could wear it outside. If I only I had the money - and room - to own every style I liked ......
  22. Could do. Hope I haven't overstated the potential interest in the photo's.
  23. Over the weekend it was close with the Coco court stilettos. I've a little nag in the back of my mind about the Jessica's, available at £40 delivered at the moment ..... As you say .... Temptation, temptation .....
  24. Progress on learning what the Lumix can do, is disappointingly slow. Not least because the Olympus Tough does such a great job for 95% of my image recording needs. Have started using the Lumix recently though for 'studio' type photo's of items going to auction. Much easier to use than the Olympus, as I'm more used to a viewfinder for that type of work. Warmer weather HAS to be on its way, and with it might come opportunities for using the Lumix in earnest. I've amassed quite a collection of street type images over the last 6 months or so. I've tried to incorporate them in heeling reports where possible (like an illustrated story perhaps), but I've still plenty to publish. The plan was to add 5 or 6 of these every couple of weeks in the gallery. This helps attract new membership (people interested in heels coming back to see the latest images posted), and ensures the regulars don't get bored seeing the same batch of pictures every time they log in. As a couple of members have been adding pictures of their own footwear just recently, I'm loathe to 'bump' them off the front page - as it were. So for a short while at least, I think I might play catch-up by using this thread to publish the backlog until the members own footwear pictures, themselves start to seem a little tired.
