Those Topshop sandals look very wearable. The wide band across the bridge must help keep your foot in the right place, and help prevent excessive rubbing from the strap across your toes.  Good choice.

You are correct that wide  strap does hold my foot in the right place.  My toes hardly touch the strap going across them.

At one point I had 4 pairs of ultra high heels  Sold 3 pairs  as I never wore them, let alone walk in them properly. Last pair was going to sell but tried them on and kept them on for around 3 hours. Sort of comfortable and being a pair from Little shoe box I keeping them, Ultra high heels do seem to sell for a high price which is sort of strange that most pairs won't get worn much.

  2. I like both pairs but Topshop heels tend to run small. Unless I can  try on first I won;t be buying any heels  from Topshop. Having said that  I did buy a pair on Ebay last week, listed a pair from Next  but are from Topshop.  Luckly for the seller they do fit and are comfortable, just look slightly small on the small side. Photo to follow.

There is no doubt you like 'strappy' sandals. 2016 looks to be your year, as the new season releases so far, predominantly include sandals with lots and lots of straps...

The cynic in me is thinking "less is cheaper" (to produce). It's why jeans are no longer fitted to the waist as a basic style. (These are now called 'high waisted' for some reason, even though they sit on the waist?) Fortunately, the topical slim leg look works better with a waisted fit, so jeans are getting back to where they belong, on a waist. I suppose less leg material allows a normal waist because of the material saved on the legs?

I'm not usually very good with sandals, as I've odd shaped feet. The bridge of my foot is unusually high, and toes fairly slim. It often means that sandals don't fit me where they should, and usually makes wearing a high heeled sandal uncomfortable, or my foot slips too far forward in them. :(

I'd quite like to own a pair of the River Island sandals I've included previously, and are now at a slightly more attractive price:

Even with what could be a 1" platform, that is a seriously tempting rise, and must be pretty hard work to walk in. B)

But where would I wear them?

If those went to a size 9 I would buy them, right now.

The reason I like sandals I find them more comfortable. I find any heels with an open arch more comfortable to wear then most courts shoes or boots Have to think about  the pain I get in right foot.

  5. I did think about going for the membership but knowing me I would forget to cancel the payment each month and I think you have to be a member for at least a year before you can leave. I didn't notice this on the terms and conditions but I sure there is a catch somewhere to stop you leaving straight after buying the first pair.

Will do another photo later this week. It;s not a five minute job for me to take a photo of me  wearing heels. I like to try and get the best possible photo I can do.

  6. Bought two new pairs since the new year. First paid bought on Ebay for £12. Listed as a size 9uk and being extra wide (EEE). Box the heels has them as a size 12us. Found to be far to big for me. Loose all the round my heel and can easy stick a finger down the back of my heel and the shoe. Yet still uncomfortable after a little while on my right foot again.

Second pair bought from Just Fab  website and paid  £44 for them  Can easy wear them all day around my flat with not foot pain and I only have to do up one strap when I go to wear them. Heel hieght is a true 5 inch and seem to be better made then I expected them to be. Now thinking of buying the other pair I posted on here..

The shoes from Just Fab are without doubt, PU and inexpensive. For a nice style, I would pay what looks like the compulsory £35 - if you don't sign up for discount. Some time ago I too thought twice before making a purchase, and didn't in fact make a purchase.

£35 is the VIP price. I paid £44 for them.

  8. It was those straps that caught my eye in the first place and the heel height is another bonus . There is also this pair with a 5" heel with even more straps but does have a zip at the back, from the same company. Was thinking of buying at least one pair. You either pay full price for them or become a VIP member and have a discount but there are conditions  if you do that. It's those conditions that making me think twice abouit buying straight away.355036-01-1_589x860.jpg

  9. Done my little shopping trip.  New look at Cosham proved to be a good choice to go to, Didn't have many size 9;s on show but I expect that now. With plently of free packing and 3 charity shops Cosham is worth a visit when I go past from time to time.  Size of the store is quite large, not much smaller then one in Portsmouth.

Portsmouth was very busy, Had no joy In New Look, couldn't find any size 9 or skirts I was looking out for. Maybe I should just stick to the web sites.for now.

My original criticism of our laughing boy voyeur, got to one of the organisers and I was assured his behaviour was not acceptable, and a word with them would have changed the situation. It would, or should, make a great venue for a Heel Meet. Perhaps something to consider for a Spring date, March - May 2016?

I be up for that. Been such a long time that I worn a pair of heels out.

I am minded to reiterate to readers and members, of a group visit to the London Fetish Market, made by several of us men into wearing heels. While at the venue, we were seated outside enjoying light refreshments. One or more of our 3 and then 4 member party were wearing a heel. One or more people on an adjacent table, were having some amusement at our expense. It could not have been more ironic ... The chap with the biggest grin was dressed - head to toe - in leather. Plainly a reject from The Matrix, laughing boy wore black leather: shirt, waistcoat, trousers, long coat, and boots. My thought at the time was; people in glass houses ....  Should folk with peculiar dress codes be less accommodating to another group with a different peculiarity? I suppose their mindset convinced them, their dress code was more normal than ours, so they could be as bigoted as they liked? Bigoted and hypocritical in my view.   ;)

I remember that visit very well. Got there very late. Got so very lost in London that in the end had to follew a taxi to get to the venue. Before then I never needed a Satnav so never needed to use one.

Just had another look at the Fetish Market might go down there at some point.

  12. What Milton Keynes like for shopping for heels?

I'm hoping to do the same in Milton Keynes on Monday ..... If I can get parked!

Was hoping  that New Look were going to add more sales items  on their website. The items I had my eye on are still at full price but now going low on stock. so I can't see New Look adding that item to the sales. Maybe if go into a real shop that item might be on sale?

Hoping to find a free packing space in Cosham, only going to be around 10 minutes in New Look. Then It be onto Portsmouth.

  13.

Where we sometimes talk about other topics on, it is still the same few members disscussing those topics. There are times where I do find it very difficult adding to those topics, so I tend not to add anything to those topics. It seems we hear from new members on the welcome board but never to hear from them again.

As the site is called Heels4men we not going to see many women on here.It not much better on HHP either for matter. They tend to stick to their own board.

  14. Was hoping other members would share what they bought and sold this year.

The green and blue pair are the ones  I wish to sell. Don't know why I don't wear the blue pair, fit alright just to big. The other pair at the front  I,m not sure If I bought them this year or at another time.

Could not tell with pair I like the best out what I bought this year. I don't get the Wow factor much these days, where I see a pair and think I must have that pair. I think there's only 1 or 2 pairs that don't fit very well. Have bought some good bargins this year.
