I just got a free upgrade for renewing my mobile contract and chose a Google Android powered handset. I linked it to my Google account and sat playing around early this morning. I looked at the Gallery on the phone and found it had picked up my Picasa account (Google owned) and was showing all my Picasa pictures. I had moved any old pics I had of me in heels to Picasa as nobody at my house can access that account, but now they were all showing up on my phone, which gets used by almost everyone for making calls, taking pics etc. as it lays around the house while I am at work.

Could have been awkward explaining that to my daughters when they looked at the pics they'd taken

Just moved them all again lol.

Lack of pennies is making me something of a hermit. Mrs Freddy is getting a bit frustrated with me being reluctant to spend money on anything other than paint and building materials - at the moment. I need another paying job to change that! I don't do the Lottery, so no salvation expected there. No rich relatives either..... Perfect job would the shoe department at House of Fraser. [i'm easily pleased. ]

I was one of the watchers on a few of your shoes Freddy, but only to see what the prices went to. There was some nice footwear to be had, shame they didn't sell for you.

Thought I'd post here rather than a new thread on this topic again. I walked the dog a few times in heels again, and have worn out a second pair of heeled boots. My birthday soon and I'm going to see if the long suffering Mrs Shyguy will take a couple of subtle hints and buy me some, although I don't hold out too much hope

I've a zillion pairs to sell, and I doubt there's enough traffic here to attract buyers? Though I could maybe try some of the less expensive ones?

The best known Internet auction site isn't proving to be very useful either, of about 8 pairs listed, I sold 2 pairs. Two unsold pairs were brand new Pleaser boots at less than half the price they might be found elsewhere. Any UK residents know of places some of a large shoe collection might be sold on? Mostly new with box....

Wow those really are unusual, but I can see why you'd want them.

Interesting and motivating post Freddy. You have been instrumental in getting me to wear heels more often although that waned recently, but I recently wore my heeled boots dog walking for the first time in months.

I keep on getting that nagging feeling that I need to live "my" life now as I'm getting older and it's nagging me more that time isn't hanging around. There's always plenty of excuses still though. I still want to try on shoes / boots in the shop openly and wear heels more as part of "living MY life" maybe time to stop waiting for acceptance from the wife though.

Glad to hear you had a good night out. It's good to hear of someone accepting a man wearing heels that easily too, would have liked to have been a fly on the wall when it was first brought up by your friend to his girlfriend though.
