  1. One of the regulars ..... Emily Ratajkowski. Not really worth looking further .... >> here <<
  2. A singer called Tinashe .... The link >> here << is worth a look. Lots going on, shoes and dress wise. At least two are wearing the gold sandals seen earlier on Pixie Lott and Cheryl.
  3. Mr and Mrs Boris Becker, Her in some quite stunning heels.
  4. Two other TOWIE girls .... More of Chloe in her shiny treggings ... >> here <<
  5. The seemingly low talent, talent judge; Cheryl. Those shoes seen before on Pixie Lott ....
  6. Taylor Swift, who has a growing taste for a heel .... From >> here <<
  7. A day at the races .... Lots more >> here << but looks a bit like chav city ...
  8. The sullen, (one role) Kristen Stewart .... Wearing Jimmy Choo's for the cameras. (Took them off minutes later). >> Here <<
  9. And then, the 46 year old and absolutely stunning Jennifer Lopez ...
  10. Another one from the same gig ... From >> here << but this picture is it.
  11. Bella Thorne at the Teen Awards (it says here). More >> here << and is worth a look. Bit a high heel shoe shop gig going on .... From the same link, Lea Michele ...
  12. Maria Fowler ... Has been some rumours about her doing some work normally associated with ladies on an hourly rate .... Her main claim to fame is as one of the cast of a TV reality programme called TOWIE.
  13. Pixie Lott, from back in August... >> Here << (But this is it really.)
  14. There is no way I'm going to a barren wilderness like Norwich just to get a look at a pair of boots. I may not have mentioned this before, but I generally need sedation if I'm travelling further North than Milton Keynes ... It's all rather odd. I can find no reference (or rather Google can't) to either styles. They exist, obviously, but no on-line images are readily available. I think neoprene is used in deference to rubber, because it doesn't rot like rubber does if subjected to sunlight.
  15. Had what I would describe as a site survey today .... Bit out of the blue, but I was here, so it wasn't much of a problem (though the best two hours of the day for completing the photographs for my 'shining leggings' quest didn't get done .... as I had a guest ....) The fella that turned up, wasn't No.2 sparks, but his help, who was also surprised about the 'only metal boxes' comment. He also made comment that metal boxes were a PITA to fit because the knock-outs were seldom in the right place, or the right size, Plastic was much easier to work with, but the Fire Service wanted metal.... One of them has to check if my earthing is suitable, or if I need to run an additional larger cable ... Not heard the outcome of that yet. I'm beginning to feel a little disenchanted with the whole thing.
  16. I look forward to seeing a picture of the style ..... sometime?
  17. I think he does a fair amount of new-build stuff. We are currently working out if he is going to do it .... He doesn't wear heels (as far as I know ) and is showing concerns at the 2.1m working height, and length of tails. Although I live in a large terraced house, there only seems to be 6 (potential) circuits, with 5 in use. Upper and lower 5a lights (2) upper and lower 13a mains (2), and probably a 30 or 40 amp for the cooker (1), leaving an unused 30/40 amp supply (1). The 'fully populated' CU's at SF start at 10 circuits and go upwards.... Hopefully I'll have some news soon.
  18. I've actually made contact with No.2 electrician! Not only that, he can fit a new CU before year end, but he only fits metal ones now and has done since about June. We have not discussed prices yet, though I (eagerly) look forward to no longer having to yank fuses out of a box fitted 2.1m from the floor.
  19. Apologies. I had meant to write at the time have a safe journey after I had responded to your comment, but it slipped my mind at the time. I hadn't forgotten altogether though. Possibly a bit late, but the sentiment is there. Come back quickly and fit enough to pull up that drawbridge. I really don't envy you and that journey.
  20. Those shoes from River Island are popular .... More images of the same girl >> here << I have no idea why 'she' (Jasmin Walia) appears so often in the newspaper, and to be perfectly frank, I'm not interested enough to find out. Suffice to say, she ticks a lot of 'eye-candy' boxes. Since she obviously enjoys being 'papped', her evening attire seldom fails to be entertaining to a limited sector of male interest. (Limited to those with a workable testosterone level. ) A look at the other pictures linked, might further explain the media interest.
  21. I reminded regular readers recently, my current count for wearing a court shoe in public, (this millennium) stands at twice. Both of these were major/expensive (for me) events, with pretty much no-holds-barred on footwear choice. Yesterday, it was proposed 'we' (my walking pal) and I go see ENO's Madame Butterfly next year. The tickets that would give me the view I might most enjoy, are £99 each plus £5 booking fee. There are travel expenses to go on top of these costs. While I'm sure some will (rightly) think this an operatic extravaganza of epic proportions, why wouldn't I go? Before I address costs, first let me remind you of a previous encounter with this production... Likely 20 years ago, I went with the same woman to a mega production at the Albert Hall, subsidised by our employer. Transport was arranged, the journey, easy and timely. What spoiled it, was .... The Young Naval Lieutenant, was played on the night, by an Afro-American. The opera is set toward the late 19th Century, a little over 30 years since the abolition of slavery in America. A black Lieutenant in the US Navy at the turn of the century? Worse, the central female figure, who is supposed to be a teenager when she meets the Lieutenant, was played by someone in her forties. It was frankly, farcical. Those two key elements aside, it was a great night with great performances, but the farcical player/singer selection meant the event was spoiled. In the legendary words of Harry Callahan; "Are you feeling lucky? Well, are ya?" Me and that beech Lady Luck seem to have parted ways many many years ago, so the answer is an emphatic; "No." But I would still like to go. I'd also like to wear some courts somewhere so special, I wouldn't give a fig if anyone noticed my footwear.... Could anything go wrong, would anything go wrong? I have history .... Then there's the £100 tickets .... I could buy cheaper, but ..... Plus the gig is 6 months away. A lot can happen in 6 months....
  22. The advice was taken, but I fear it did little good. Some parts do feel to be 'smarting', which they did not before the visit to your study sir. Some years ago, what passed as a singing 'talent contest', the (cough) lady on the right secured a place in a manufactured-for-television singing group. Two years later, she left the poorly received group. Four years later still, she joined the worlds longest running soap, Coronation Street. Or Murder Street, as some might be inclined to refer to it. Her daughter, the girl on the left with the ineloquent taste in foot attire, recently failed to impress on a similar but updated version of the TV talent show. Were you bored enough with life to feel the need to research Ms Marsh, you would find her personal life produces more column/line inches than her singing and acting career combined. She has shown the world two things in this. Firstly, she can not survive long without a man to hold on to. Secondly, she has shown a stunning ability to make poor choices of these men. I'm sure her hair is dyed black, she is almost always seen with heavily kohled eyes and black clothing. One might be tempted to call it her signature style. She did have a significant personal loss in 2009, I'm sad to report, and she can act. But other than that, complete train wreck.
