  1. I had a pair of 6" heels with 2" platform shoes modified a while back to be 7" heels with the same 2" plattform. They fit great but a challenge to walk becouse of the stiletto heel and that my foot slide a little inside becouse of the lack of support since they are sandals. I have tried several times to use different type of inlay soles to make the sandal tighter to my foot for easier to walk, but have not really succeded... until yesterday. I took one of these plasctic/foam plates, 8 mm thick we use for sitting outdoor and cut it to fit the internal of the sandals, as an inlay sole. And this work really fantastic. The foam give a kind of a spring effect and the sandals are like glued to the foot. Now I have no problem to walk with the sandals, feel I can even run... Really a fantastic feeling!
  2. Even thow the heel it self was not any nice, the shape of the foot of the boot was very nice..
  3. Yesterday I made my first fulltime day in 5" block heel boots. I was driving most of the day, but I did go in to a restaurant for dinner on the road and I did grocery shopping.at the destination. In the restaurant there were some truckdrivers, but I could not notice anyone paying any special attention to my footwear. At the grocery store I had to ask one of the female workers where to find my stuff. I learned something thow...when wearing 5" heels and standing up from sitting for a while, find the balance BEFORE start walking! Important!..
  4. In my point of (brainwashed) view, style like this fits well on men..
  5. I kind of have a crush on these boots....
  6. In a way I`m happy my feet is to large for normal size female shoes..if I could buy shoes directly from the stores, I would have hundreds of pairs..
  7. With my GoPro on a teleskopic rod, I tried to capture some clips from ground level to see how does it look like wearing heeled boots. Here are a few print screen from the recording. I will work more on this by adjusting the cam for better pictures...
  8. Yesterday evening my wife and me had an appointment with a gay couple we know. We should meet at a restaurant for dinner. So my wife and me dressed up, she in boots with about 2,5" heels and me wearing my 4" block heels. We walked to the train station and took the train to destination. Very crowded on the train so we had to stand among many others. At the destination we walked through the big railway station and through the city for about 20 min before we reach the restaurant. There we met our friends, had some beers, had a dinner and when done, we said goodbye and took the same route back home. Again...no looks and no comments from anyone. Not even our friends noticed anything...even thow I were 4" taller compare to last time we met. So folks, just put on your heels and go out. Nobody really cares....
  9. And the benefit for wearing 4" on a daily basis, my 5" is also becomming more and more easy to wear..
  10. Had a new business trip out of town yesterday wearing my new boots. At the airport I took of the boots before walking trough the security and left the boot with by jacket in the basket. Someone had taken the boots out of the basket before the x-ray machine so they came seperate from my jacket in the basket. At the destination I was picked up by a female in a car and we drove to plant where we should work. We changed clothes in the same office, by meaning we undressed only jacket and footwear and put on overall and safety shoes. When the work was done, we return to the office, changed clothes, she drove me back to the airport, same procedure through the security and after 45 min waiting, I entered the plane and after a couple of hours I were home again. I could not notice anyone looking, I got no comments...everything worked nice and smooth...
  11. 1. The heel shape really matters. But to avoid getting to much attention, I prefer block heels. Block heels are also a lot easier to wear compare to stilettos. If I were living in a perfect world, I would wear slimmer heels but still not stilettos. 2. I also notice the big different in just a few mm. But the type of footwear and heelshape, also make a big different. So 5" on one pair is sure not the same as 5" on another pair. 3 If I walk out on the street, I prefer less pain, less difficult and therefore 4" heels. But I sure also like the little extra pain and struggle to wear as high heels as possible. So if I wear going to a pub or cinema, I would prefer using my 5" boots.
  12. I also prefer the heels to be more narrow, but these boots were made for everyday use, therefore 1" hidden and solid block heels.. My absolut favorite heel height is 5". That give the foot the perfect shape...but also more pain and more difficult to wear
  13. And so I will do. I have also noticed I like to be the extra 4 inch taller...
  14. I guess you right...they will be considered as high heels But not in a feminine way..
  15. Would you consider them as high heel boots?
  16. My new boots with 3" visual heels and 1! hidden heel
  17. I have so far never had any comments or any weird looks as I have noticed. But keep in mind I dont wear stiletto heels..only block heels..
  18. Last year I had a pair of boots made with 2" visuable heel and 2" hidden heel so I would reach my favorite heel height 4". But those boots never made me comfortable. So on my last vacation I brought the back to the Philippines to have them modified to 3" visuable heel and 1" hidden heel. Today is the first day wearing them and the first trip is to work. I wear them right now and in my point of view, 3" block heels look fairly normal on size 44 boots... Will take some picks later...
  19. I have for a long periode been using my 4" heeled boots on more or less daily basis. When I wear them now, it feel all normal, I have no problem walking in them, they have become a more or less natural part of my outfit. In the beginning, the 4" was a challange but not anymore. So early this morning I put on my 5" heeled boots which are simular style as the 4" and I took a short walk. These boots I have not used in a couple of years becouse they were to high. But on the trip this morning, they felt not very much different than my 4" boots. Up hill, down hill, flat...no problem and I walk fairly normal in them. So it`s all about practicing and not start of on the highest heelheight right away...
  20. I`m not so comfortable walking up stairs, or being on a parade. But a lot of practice have made me quite good walking in heels so I walk fairly normal. If I had been walking "like a duck", it sure would be a hole lot different... Also when crossing predestrian crossings and there are cars waiting on both sides, that make me a little uncomfortable.
  21. Another flight in heels. Took the bus from home to the airport, checked in by the selfserv machine and dropped the luggage at the luggage claim. Stopped by the restroom to change to clogs before security check. After security check, again stopped by the restroom to change to boots. Had a unexpected long walk to the flight..I did not even know about this part of the airport. Found my gate...but I did not sit down becouse it was to may people there waiting for an earlier flight and when I sit, the pants does not cover the heels. so I was standing for 10 min...and then it was announced a gate change, so I had to walk again. Many people sitting along the path where I had to walk, many must have noticed my heels, but no comments. Nobody at the new gate, I sat down and covered my heels with my small backsack. Then a surprice..I thought I would go directly onto the flight when bording, but first we had to go down some stairs to the ground level and then up the stairs to the flight. No way I could cover my heels from behind...but no comments from any behind. We took of, we landed at destination and I walked to the luggage area to claim my luggage. They were doing some floor work there and I could notice the guy at the floor level were looking at my boots for more than "just a glimt". But I could not see any special reaction... I grabed my luggage, walked up some stairs with a woman behind me, and left the airport in my car. I feel very comfortable most of the time...
  22. Yesterday I had to make a business trip out of town by plane. Always when I`m out flying I wish I used my heeled boots, but never had the currage. Yesterday when I packed my handluggage, I also included a pair of clogs. I got dressed, inclusive my 4" boots and walked to the railwaystation. This was early morning so not many people around in town. I bought my ticket and entered the train with several other people. Beside me a young girl sat down..she only used boring flats. But she was good looking thow... At the airport we all left the train, at this time several hundreds, and walked to the depature hall. Up escalators and stairs... I walked to the automatic ticket machine, punched in my reservation code and got my ticket. Then I walked to the men CR. There I changed to clogs...and walked through the security with my boots in the handluggage. After security check I walked to the nearest men CR and again changed to boots. Then I walked though the airport and sat down at my gate waiting for the depature. Many people walking around and after a while a woman in her 40 sat down just uposite of me. She were wearing some ugly 3" shoes... So far I can notice not anyone had looking at my boots, at least noone had been laughing or made any comments. Time to enter the plane and I found my seat. We took off and landet about 1 hr later. I left the plane and the airport, and entered the bus. Then we drove off and I left the bus 45 min later at an appartment I rent. Then I changed to my motorcycle gear, jumped on my BMW and drove to my office...wearing uncomfortable motorcycle boots. This trip really work great, I had no looks that I noticed and no comments or laugh.. .
  23. Self confidence is, as Jinx mentioned, the key factor. I have been wearing my 4" boots for so long now that I feel they are a natural part of my outfit, yesterday I even had to run to reach the bus, I was surpriced I could run in heels without looking like a duck.... Maybe it`s time to move up to 5" heels now..
  24. I have change my working place for a short periode so I had to move. I`m renting a small appartment in the city and I take the bus to work. So a few times now I walk from my appartment to the bus stop, wait for the bus, enter the bus, ride the bus, leave the bus with a bunch of people and walk to my work. Then I enter the building, walk the stairs up to fifth floor to my desk....wearing my 4" heeled boots. Then after a while I change my footwear to clogs. When going home, I again change my footwear and walk through the building, down the stairs, to the bus and going home. There are 950 people working in this building, male and females. This is a big city so there are people everywhere So far I have not got any commments or noticed anyone looking. I`m improving big time.. :)
