Just this week I had some shoes that I had brought awhile ago, but decided I didn't like them as much as when I initial got them, so I gave them to my sister (as we are the same size). She took them home and told her daughter that I had given them to her and that I like to wear heels. Her daughter thinks its strange. She hasn't told her fiance as he is very much against men who are not what society considers normal.

Nice boots and you also got them at a reduced price, always good.

Does it work?
Yes if works

I don't really like shoes from Office. Often the concept is good but the execution is not so clever. Also, their sale prices aren't particularly attractive either. They're like Barratts, might knock off 20% at the end of a line, but nothing that makes you want to spend money like some of the other [better] brands.
Consequently, I don't visit their website. Means I missed out on a real bargain.
Background to this is that I saw some thigh boots on Ebay recently. Now I don't do thigh boots because I've real skinny legs, and anything up them just feels like wellies. Imagine my [pleasant] surprise when I saw something that looked to have quite skinny legs on it! They were advertised as Essex Biker Boots, and had a low start price. I did bid, but they eventually went for £132 if I remember. [No link as it'll disappear soon anyway.]
Thought I'd double check the Office web site .... Found them, but only size 3, 4, and 5 left in stock. The worst of it was, their sale price. Down from £165 to £40. And no size 8's left!!
It's been some time since I've missed out on something I liked, but I really did miss an attractive bargain with this one.
.....
Just had a look at the link and they now show as 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 available. 8.42am. Hope you can get a pair

Sometime I can go without wearing heels for weeks. Must be because I know I can wear them anytime I want.
-
Welcome. What style heels do you like?
-
I added a comment a few days ago and I don't think that one worked either,
-
Welcome. Its a shame your wife has lost interest in you wearing heels. At least you can enjoy them in private.
-
I was thinking of getting a similar pair, for the times I may want a more discrete heel.
-
I have quite afew shoes from new look. Although I don't usually try them on in the store as it is normally too busy.
I also got a pair just before christmas for £3. They were originally £20.
Both pairs you brought are nice, but I prefer the black ones.

I am considering getting Mrs Shyguy sat at the computer looking at my Ebay watchlist and asking her to pick one of the pairs out as there are a few different styles there she should find one which she can tolerate.
-
A small word of warning. Don't forget to use suede protector on them. Too much rain can ruin them.
-
Wedge heels are fine too, and added these to my watch list. Thanks Freddy for posting them.
As for the manly boots, I like the look of them but they are listed as 3" heels, so too much for the other half to accept.
Update, seriously considering these Wedges any thoughts?
I would wear any of these three. Would your other half accept the diamante decoration on the last pair?

I Will also keep a look out.
How much is inexpensive. Just so I don't come back with lots of expensive ones. lol
Shoe zone link added. They have some similar boots here. Some are only £14.99. The site doesn't seem to mention heel height (apart from low, medium or high)

All you need now is the grey pair and you will have the full set.
-
National men in heels day would be good. All those who don't go public with their heels could, even if it is just for the one day. But it could inforce the view that men shouldn't wear heels as everyday footwear.
-
Welcome. After you had a look around and maybe a post of too we can get to know you better.
Do you wear heels?
-
totally agree with you about the boots, but the exhibishonist in me wants to wear something a bit more noticeable. What about you hh4evr1 do you go out in heels?
I do got out in heels. Mainly block/thicker heels, but I have worn stilettos occasionally.

Bad news I'm afraid ....
Can't walk in them though. They are snug, definitely not strolling around the park shoes. As I've mentioned before, there's something about the shape of the rise (the curve) that makes them feel higher, and are certainly harder to walk in than just about every other pair of shoes I own.
Will have to do the piccies tomorrow. Lakeside is calling. [Rather, the wife is getting impatient. ]
....
Lots of the reviews I have seen about them said they came up small. I had to kick my self at not getting a pair last year when I originally saw them.
Hope you enjoyed Lakeside.

Those boots are good for public wear. People may notice but most don't say anything as they are too busy with what they are doing.
-
I'm jealous now. I like the Lois Schuh courts. If they don't fit pass them on to me.
-
Liike both of those new pairs. Do you wear heels in public?
-
Both pair are nice. Hope you are able to choose which ones to keep, if they both fit.

Welcome. I have also recently joined here. I prefer heels but do have some womens flat shoes/boots.

I may have been unclear in my wording. My sisters fiancee is the one who has a the attitude of men wearring "womens" things is wrong etc .
The heels I gave away were some of my impulse buys, only to discover they were not really what I wanted.
My neice has seen me on the high heel meeting place before, I will just have to wait and see if she mentions/questions me about my wearing/liking heels.
Giving some of the ones I didn't like that much makes more room for ones I really like.
