  1. I've seen them at HHMP. Nice cut, but I'd prefer smooth leather. Is it ostrich?
  2. I think that replacing jeans with black or oxblood red slack (or, even better, leather pants) would make the outfit much nicer. I'd also suggest putting a jacket/ blazer on.
  3. Well, I think that'd be "balancing on the ledge" between masculinity and feminity. I call this "a man dressed as a woman who's dressed as a man" :-D So... No "true en femme mode", fake breasts, wigs etc., just some stereotypically feminine items, but with keeping my identity .
  4. I think we could set up a forum with shoe bargains, where to buy big-sized shoes etc. advice. I fear most guys have problems getting their shoes. Oh, and I think a "psychological/ sociological aspects" forum would be useful too .
  5. Quite OK and really sexy, I think .
  6. Perhaps that's because there are still a very few men who wear heels, and the phenomenon is quite unusual. If we do it on a greater scale, it'll eventually become socially acceptable. It's just like long hair or earrings for men. It also was the case when Coco Chanel introduced trousers for women- I'm sure people were awkward first, but more and more women began to wear pants. It was becoming a commmon occurence and, after some time, a woman in trousers was as "normal" as 2 plus 2 equals 4.
  7. When I added my avatar, it was reduced to 50x50 pixels... I think it's definitely too small- why not allow for bigger avatars, for example up to 100x150 pixels?
  8. I've got quite a lot fashion ideas recently, and I wanna share this one with you. As I wrote in another thread, I'm into playing with genders and I thought up something like this: -a well-fitting three-piece black leather suit with an oxblood red cotton shirt and a tie of the same colour -2.5" (6cm) block heel oxfords, simmilar to these ones: or the loafers you see in the H4M logo, I like them quite a bit, although they could have thicker heels -oxblod red lipstick and nail polish, matching the shirt and tie, -gloves matching either the shirt or the suit, -a bag I recently bought- although it was marketed towards women first, (I bought it in a thrift store for an equivalent of 30 cents ) it looks quite gender- ambiguous. It's just my imagination and I still don't have lipstick nor nail polish, but I think I could pull such a look off. I'd like to express myself and shock some people who believe in gender binary :-D.
  9. Well, I'm visiting Heels4Men everyday and I still see no new posts... I'm starting to worry, so starting a discussion may help quite a bit. As you probably know, I don't have a digital camera, so I can't make any pics. Recently, I bought a nice-looking bag. It's technically a women's purse, but it doesn't look girly at all- it's quite masculine, I wear it with my leathers and it looks good on me. Several month's ago I also bought a fake fur jacket for myself, it has a men's cut (the buttons are on the right side, and the holes are on the left side). Now, that it's cold and snowy outside, I'm gonna wear this fur, bag, a leather suit and knee-high cowboys (sorry, no high heels...). I feel quite high and confident now, and it really helps. I don't really care what others think, and I'm becoming excited by my fashion ideas (I know, it's quite narcissistic, but as long as it doesn't harm anyone, it's OK ). I like the androgynous looks, merging masculinity and femininity and blurring the gender boundaries as much as I can. I also identify as someone between a man and a woman (despite the fact that I'm a biological male with balls and stuff, and I ain't gonna change that ). Some people see a woman in me, and most see a man. Heck, they don't know that I identify as both at the same time. I have real fun playing with gender, and when someone thinks I'm a woman, I don't correct him. I deliberately change the way I speak to avoid gender-specific pronouns, verb forms etc. relating to me, so I don't give the other person any strong "male/ female" signal. Androgyny is quite exciting for me (well, it turns me on erotically quite a lot, too), no matter if it's me, or someone else who blurs the barriers. I'm here, I'm queer, and I don't care if someone else calls me effeminate etc. Blah blah.
  10. They look nice and not feminine- I like the look. Wear them well!
  11. Well, I see you have a point. OK, let's leave it "as is". Since RPMindy has a female HH discussion forum and there's a lot of communities aimed at transgendered people, let's keep the original idea. Oh, and I think that we could create a subforum dedicated to general male fashion freestyling (not specifically heels- skirts etc. ideas too), or Gothic/alternative fashion.
  12. Well, I think I'm gonna stick with the new one. I would also change the one at HHMP, but I guess I wrote too many posts that were later referred to and an username change would result in a nice chaos .
  13. Hi, this is my second post. Good to see Heels4Men up again, with extra functionality. Since I've been at HHplace for many months, there won't be any problems with the forum engine. Keep on heeling, guys!
  14. Hmm... I think that we'll have to make the "heels worn by guys as guys", "TS/TG/TV/CD" and "fetish things" subforums. Of course unless we keep the board strictly for male fashion purposes.
