The first model is nowhere to be found. I found the second one but not in my size. It wasn't the same shade of blue as on the picture. So I came back empty handed.

On balance, my fav's would still be the grey boots.

The shoes look great, but I just can't hold that type of footwear on my feet very easily.

I use V.5 of Paintshop Pro. It's very basic, very easy to use. I tend to rotate and crop quite a bit, plus lose some of the distracting background by using the 'clone' feature to make the background as plain as possible.

This adjustment took about 4 minutes. And 3 minutes of that was losing the yellow labels, and red shelf edging.

On the first set of pics, there a pair of shoes on the lower right, I tried those as well but didn't take a picture.

Oh well, better luck next time on the camera.

Glittery silver heels, only tried them because they didn't have my size in black. I think they are horrible in that colour. But man, were they high!!!

The same grey boots from an earlier post in this thread. Not as uncomfortable as I thought but a tad too snug... would need hald a size up.

Glad to know the camera is suiting you after all. And for all it's worth, it doesn't seem verry cold according to the ladies clothing in your pics.

Neede some change of mind so at lunch I went a different location of the same chain of store. I was there a good 20 minutes. I retried the tall grey boots but they didn't have my size. I tried a total of 7 pairs consisting of boots, peep toes, pumps and sandals. There was a woman who saw me as i tried on a pair of beige leather booties with a wedge heel. No comments or snicker that I could perceive but there's no way she didn't notice. She was inches away when I remove the boot and revealed my stockinged feet.

My part time job with 2 hours everyday high heel walking benefit, ends Christmas Eve.

Slightly mixed emotions ..... It's a PITA to travel to (now I've moved home), but a great opportunity for wearing heels everyday [including weekends]. Money wasn't good, but it paid for a lot of heels!

Your decision or theirs?

Interesting. I like the Cheryl Cole in the article and the J-Lo' Louboutin. Not too keen on Alley's studded stilettos though.

Had a surprise visit by some close family members this afternoon. Halfway through their visit, I spotted two pairs of my boots left on the kitchen floor [in plain view] waiting to be polished by Mr Shoe Cleaner [that would be me].

Since neither of the visitors are sight-impaired, the boots MUST have been seen. Mrs Freddy has quite a shoe+heel collection, but these are mostly KG branded. Neither pair on the floor were from KG .... Nor would they look to be inside the typical KG price or style range. [Meaning: the boots are not expensive nor particularly 'girlie'.]

Nothing said during the visit ...... Which might be a good sign .....

Well that solves the problem I can't upload the pictures through the crappy picture. And for Mr Freddy, yeah, that sentence made no sense...

So the grey boots were pretty tall and not superbly comfortable.

I like the motorcycle style as it wasn't standing out so much.

Stopped at a different location today. Crappy picture through a crappy mirror of me in the shoes but they'll come tomorrow.

Okay, now these are certainly heels, they are also chunky. I certainly prefer slimmer heels. But it certainly would be a great start!
