  1. Hey... Steady.... :-)

I'll have you know I was up an hour earlier today, to get there at all! :o

T'was a bit rushed, with MK significantly busier than I expected. ;)

Is always worth meeting up though. I think it useful to meet people F-2-F so you can get the measure of them, and I'd not met vee6 before. He's a charming fellow, isn't he? :-P [You're not so bad either. :-)]

    ...

Get a room already.... Can you hear yourself???

  2. Hi,

    For an introduction.

I am a man, 29 years old and i love wearing the boots from my gf, we both have the same size, so i am happy. Well, we both have size uk 6. Is that small for a man and should i be happy with that?

Hell yeah, I wish I were a size 6, I'd be able to get far bigger ranges...

Happy? You should be well chuffed(Pleased)

Oh, and Welcome to heels4men buddy...

  3. The number of "actual members" displayed, is only how many have actually registered, but doesnt take into account those who never bother to validate their email, and so, complete their registrations.

Every month or so, I go through and wipe out all members who have not verified their email address, as 99.9% of them are just spammers, or time wasters anyway, thus, the number drops back down, and every 6 months or so, I might even go and delete all members who have not logged in for 6 months and have never posted.

    Same applies for both websites.

  4. I enjoyed his postings but wish we could see some pictures to verify the words. I was a little surprised he didn't go to HHPlace, though.

The thing that I have seen on HHPlace is a tendency for more public heel wearing guys like Thighbootguy, HappyFeat, JeffB, and now tallguyinheels to start wearing skirts. I have no desire to go in that direction, and it would seem that would keep them off of Heels4Men?

lol, he did go to HHPlace but was banned for constantly raising topics of cross-dressing and ignoring our requests not-to.

Personally, I wish all those guys would keep the skirt wearing to themselves, all it does is paint a stereotypical picture that says "All guys wearing heels will progress into more later" and detracts from the very fact that its all about footwear fashion..

I'm not saying dont wear a skirt, by all means, wear what the heck you like, but dont make your entire day focus around "WOW, I wore a skirt", like your entire life revolves around the fact that you went out dress like a girl from the waist down....

  5. I did wonder about those .....

And I'm not trying to defend the breach or offer an excuse (the original deletion should have been understood after all), but for some reason PM's aren't advised by either pop-up (or email IIRC)?

I sent a PM to a fellow member here, and it was missed for almost a month. His reply to me was missed for a couple of days for the same reason?

Just a word to the wise .... (Guv'nor)

Already know that, it was sent via PM and email :(

  6. As you have ignored my 2 messages asking you NOT to use those avatar and profile pictures, I have once again removed them and am now asking you publicly, if you use them again I will just ban you.

Do NOT use those pictures here again on our website.

  7. Hey Guys

Leapfrogging on what Fastfreddie said, heres a subject I know absolutely NOTHING about, but really want to get into, and have wanted to do since as far back as I can remember...

So, as a wildcard, and taking a longshot, does anybody know anything at all about radio controlled helicopters or RC flying in the slightest?

Where the hell do I start?

  8. Window shopping wont keep a store open. Get involved, ditch the "spectator" status and join in. Its not complicated. A site is only as good as its users, so if it seems dead here, then it because very few are taking part.

I still have a few things to iron out here, but am getting round to them eventually.

    which is:-

Promoting itself as 'a site for regular guys who like to wear high heels'.

So... it's exactly the same as this place now.

Actually, its not the same, HHPlace is for anybody with an interest in heels at all, its not to promote heels 4 guys at all, thats what this place is for...

So, I disagree, the 2 sites, while similar, are not the same.

  9. Is the Shoe Critique forum for others to critique what we wear, or does it include a critique or review of shoes we have bought by us?

    Hi Bob

Ideally it was intended as a critque of actual guys in their heels, more of a "Honest opinion of how I look" kinda thing, but then I added the "shoe critique" so you can write up reviews if you want to of shoes you have bought and wear, like a shoe-review.

  10. It would be nice to remove "fetish", "stripper", and "crossdresser" from the descriptions of high heels on eBay. Those terms are a real turn-off for me. Shoes are just shoes, even with high heels. I would tend not to order from someone who uses those descriptors.

lol, indeed, the auctions might as well say "Suitable for anybody with feet"

Its a pain that there are so many auctions on ebay where people say "Suitable for...."

Unless its a technical part for an engine, computer or other peice of technical kit, then I'm sure people can work out what footwear is for...

    or can they :o

  11. 1. Folks will become more used to seeing it, or 2. Maybe it will encourage some other guys to wear them too.

    Hey Dave

Great points made there, but what you will probably find is that both of those will happen at the same time.

As people get used to seeing it, others will also try it.

Yet another point that what you put on your feet, really is not worth kicking up a fuss about to others ha ha ha ha puntastic!

  12. I was then posting at HHplace and she walked in and "caught" me there. We browsed through together and because she is looking to back up her own beliefs about men and heels she notices all the posts about wearing skirts and the CD/TV stuff.

Puts my case back a few months as I again have to reassure her not all men who wear heels want to go full TV or CD.

Thats exactly the entire point of heels4men

The look, style and content are all mannered to avoid any mis-conceptions peole might have, because there are tons of guys who actually dont want to be associated with any of the CD/TV stuff, they just want to wear whatever shoes they like, without it boiling into something it isnt.
