  1. As I have mentioned, the 5" on the top pictures is to high for everyday use, but the 5,5" with chamfered heels are okay to use, I will have the 5" heels changed to chamfered heels as showned on these 2 pics.

Then I can start using my favorite boots again on an everyday basis.

Heels that goes straight down feels higher and more difficult to walk compare to heels which are chamfered on the back side of the heels.

The only scary thing is, its easier to slide with chamfered heels than straight heels...so on wet areas, more care has to be taken so you dont slide and fall.

That can be somewhat a little embarrassing :)

  2. Another pair of kneeheight boots.

5,5" heels and becouse of the angle of the heels, I can fairly easy walk in these boots.

The way all boots are made, is that I found some pics of some female boots and we just scaled them up to size 44/45 and try to make them more masculine in a way.. :)

But by scaling up, they loose some of the nice look of smaller sizes...especially if they have platform.

I like platform on small sizes, but on big sizes, the footwear looks more ugly.

  3. I wouldn't want someone wearing one - that trod on my toe! wink.gif

They're certainly eye catching. I have a thing for slim steel/shiny heels. Though a comment like that, is hardly going to surprise anyone. biggrin.gif

They would look very nice on my wife.. :)

  4. I read on the net a while back that a doctor recommended men to wear higher heels becouse always wearing flat, walking on concrete or steel as many male workers do, often resoults in painful heels.

I`m doubtfull he ment stiletto heels or very high heels, but at least raise the heel of the foot will help out many for heel/foot pain.

Personally I find 4" most comfortable.

  5. I just remembered a while back I used my 4" boots to the barbershop.

When the hairdresser, young female, should blowdry my hair, she had to plug the blower in the electric output...which was located at the floor level where I had my feet.

I had a feeling she changed a bit when we continue talking and I also have a feeling she was looking at me slightly different after that.

But no comments or no laugh and I broke another barrier.. :)

  6. If I could fit into women size, I would go in a normal store.

But, size 44/45 EU has big limitations.

Therefore custom made. I pay about 150 £ for a pair of kneeheigh, leather boots with leather sole.

And they fit as a glove and are very comfortable.

And the best part, they can make any style I like....

  7. Philippines is really different so to see a white man ordering high heels is really something special.

And each time I`m there, there are many new employees.

Anyway, they do a good job to a fairly good price. Nothing beat custom made.

I dont have any pics from the me trying on new boots, but I have pics to ad to the forum.

I tried yesterday, but I did not get it to work. Maybe I need more time on the forum before I`m allowed to ad pics?
