  1. No enclosures here, so use either our gallery, or an external server [like Photobucket, Imageshack etc.]. If you want to add a picture to our gallery, choose "High Heels Gallery" on the very top of the page. Then, choose Pictures, go to the Members' Gallery section and click "Submit image to this section" to the right. IMPORTANT: the extension must be in lowercase, else the script won't allow you to upload an image [so you've got to have image.jpg instead of image.JPG, etc.].

  2. Yeah, think about some rock stars or Johnny Depp in Tim Burton's movies [almost all of which I adore] and "Pirates of the Carribean". Of course there will be some time before the make-up for men becomes something common, but it'll eventually do. Wearing earrings / body piercing is mainstream now, although it was quite underground a few years ago...

  3. Right. I used to wear them with leather pants and a dress cotton shirt, leather blazer and coat [when cold]. I'm an androgyne into gothic lifestyle and it's quite an ordinary outfit, in my terms . To parties, concerts etc. I also apply black nail polish and some make-up [eyeliner, mascara, lipstick].

  4. What does "binary" about this context? One's femaleness or maleness has nothing to do with what clothing you wear.

From "our" point of view- right, I agree. From society's one- unfortunately, still not. There's a double standard that allows men to wear only certain items and allows only women to wear certain items [note the position of "only"]. A good thing to subvert, and that's what I wrote about. What I'm interested in is not trying to pass as female [many people do, but it's not my thing], but blurring the gender boundaries so much that I could be perceived as male or female with an equal chance. I also object to any gender differences that have nothing to do with actual anatomical/ physiological differences between males and females.

  5. I know that some people visit H4M, but it's still a dead place. And, what is worse, people think that they must reply in someone else's thread, instead of starting a new one. Why don't we give our forum a spark of life? Come on, I think that a lot of active street-heelers [and closeted ones, too!] can share experiences, outfit ideas and so on!

  6. hi im Heels me. can any one help me. I want the heels the model has on in the gallary picture.

Which pic do you mean? The Jean Paul Gaultier's navy- blue pants and vest? I love the look...

Im 40 in november and im having a black tie party so need some good heels to go with my tucks pls get back if you know anything.

It's great that you want to stand out! I imagine that you'll have a lot of confidence since you already decided that you want to wear heels for a formal occasion, and I'm really positive about your choice. What's your shoe size? You shouldn't have any difficulty buying heels if you're up to EU41/ UK7. If you're thin and quite androgynous in appearance, it helps too. Personally, I prefer oxfords, because they're both "masculine" and "feminine", but I could do pumps or boots as well.

Also it would be good to chat and have a few m8s who also were heels im the only one in my group. So get back if u can and still get back if u carnt. Its so good to find a place that does this sort of thing as puting heels on comes second nature now but i have female shoes and i so wish for mens heels just wish the world around us would cach up a bit quicker.lol. All the best for now. Heels me. xx

Don't worry, you can count on me! I'm also very keen on leather fashion- my avatar is a photo from J. C. Jitrois campaign, the heels appear a bit too feminine for my taste, but the outfit is outstanding in my opinion.
