Being a shorter guy (5ft5) I've always wanted to look a little taller and was envious of how girls and ladies could boost their height, and look better, by wearing heels.
Thankfully around 15 yrs ago I found a place in the US that made custom cowboy boots with up to 6 inch heel ( one pair that tall but found they are really tricky to walk in). I've now got 10 pairs in my wardrobe ranging from 3 inch to 5 inch heels. They are mens cowboy boots but here in the UK most guys assume they are females so I've had a few comments about them. Fortunately my wife loves them as shes a little taller than me so prefers me looking taller tho it does mean I have to wear them every day with the aches and pains that brings.
And I suppose that brings me to the reason I posted in this topic. Growing up for me it would have been totally taboo to be seen with heeled boots but now we are more accepting as a society which is a good thing. Such is the change that my stepson now has 2 pairs of cowboy boots of his own I got him (tho they are expensive) that he wears often - he also is kinda small for his age so lacks confidence. And much to my annoyance he is much more able to walk in them all day than I am lol
